He lost his home-world, but gained his freedom,
And now he's gained new friends,

It has been years and (ok months) I'm in a new id because for the love of Ra I couldn't remember my stinking id password for Nariko Fanel. I just re-read some of my filks and nearly died laughing. Well, I'm back again!!!!! I have also the pleasure of showing my fiancé this thread. He found Ascifi through Ausgate but...hehe I'm going to show him the song filks. Ok then Talk to you all later! Team UNAS wants YOU!

Uncle UNAS wants YOU! <bg>

Really, we've all been swamped and unable to update the UNAS web site (i.e. Unofficial Net Archives of Stargate, www.U-N-A-S.com) Even our most recent recruit has been pulled away for a while by a particularly ornery Unas of her own.

Mostly, the site is "my baby", but I write the songs, I don't post 'em! <bg> Actually, I *can* post them, but I just can't devote the time to it that I'd like, and I've fallen WAY behind on posting new filks.

So, if there's anyone out there who'd like to join Team UNAS, give
me a holler off list.

Benefits of joining: For starters, Get a free "Songs of the
Chaapa'ai tote bag, and a copy of "Songs of the Chaapa'ai, the Zine, Volume 1". More "cool stuff" will probably come in time. ;-)

Pitfalls of joining: There's a lot of techie stuff to do up front,
like file rearranging, etc.; and sometimes I can get pretty prolific
and want a lot of new filks posted in quick succession! <g>

I'm looking for some revamping of "behind the scenes" stuff, like
organizing file folders and setting up one main domain and two or
three sub-domains.

The site is based on Frontpage software.

The site exists at netherweb.com, a paid-for site with a great file
manager and site statistics viewer and other things I don't fully
utilize cos I don't really understand.

I'm looking for someone I can trust with my personal stuff too (cos the site is piggy-backed on my personal web site where I post poetry); and for someone who can figure out all the tecchie stuff I can't figure out.

Mostly, I'm looking for someone who will have fun with us, cos Team UNAS is all about "fun"!
