I think someone already suggested this as Hathors Theme song, but I don't think the filk has been done yet, so here goes

To avoid complications, she always wears the same old dress
On closer inspection, she looks just like a bloody mess

For her beloved she chose Daniel
He soon behaved like a spaniel
Malevolent and precise

So we buy an instant cake and we burn our frozen steak,

No!

I'd listen to Virgin rather then the dance stuff they play on Capital any day.

And I am not sucking up. Oh no Im not. I get Virgin in the car with my family and like it. And Radio 4 when its just me and my Mum.

We've finally gotten a bit more organized over at Songs of the Chaapa'ai, and, well, in our previous, *less* organized stage, unfortunately we lost an email address for Fen.

If anyone else out there has Fen's email address, please help us get into contact with each other!

We're preparing to organize the printing of the first Songs of the Chaapa'ai- The Zine; and in the process are notifying all contributors.

Anyone else out there who would like to see your filk archived and in print, please submit it to me. Any filks received after August 20 cannot be included in this zine (sorry!), but we do expect to do annual updates!

Err, Skip, me ole mate, I may have a wee problem. I can't seem to find our last co-filk. Look, dagnammit, calm down. I seem to recall saving it as a yahoo message page, but I don't know where I saved it exactly. So it's not lost as such, I mean IT knows where IT is, we just need to find each other if you know what I mean.

don't worry about missing out on this zine; there WILL be more!! And as Mishkaz said, we're including your co-authored filk "SGC Nights". I'm dissappointed myself that I wrote several filks last week, all too late to incorporate (tho' I'm hoping to squeeze in the Copacabana one <g>) Brenda's working hard putting on the finishing touches, then we hope to print by next week. Won't take orders or ship until October, though - all 3 of us are going to Gatecon, and are seriously fighting deadlines to get ready for it! <bg> After fine-tuning the zine, Brenda will do some heavy duty updates to the site - lots of new stuff to include! Meanwhile.... I'll post the Copacabana one here in a moment.....
