Gatecon 2001 is being held in Vancouver in September( 20th to 23rd). Me and my sister are going (tickets bought, hotel booked)We are coming from England , anyone else? Roll on september.

There is also a convention in London, in November 3rd & 4th I think. Hope to get there too.

A quote to remember !!!!

I just wanted to share this with you all. I just returned from the BOBW XI convention is Sydney Australia, and had the chance to catch up with Don, Teryl and Peter.

While at the banquet on Saturday night, Don S. Davis made the comment to me and Adele (the BOBW organiser) that he had been attending conventions for over 20 years, and Gatecon 2000 was the most professional and fun convention he had ever been to.

Was I thrilled ????.... YOU BET I WAS.

I should have my photo's ready in about a week. I'm still too poor to own a digital camera, and I have to wait till my next pay day to get my film developed, but once I do, i'll let everyone know where to find them.

yep i'm gonna be there if i have to drive myself...and i know one girl from london, one from france and two from alabama...i don't know what i'm more excited about, going adn meeting the stars or meeting all these people i've only ever typed to

I should have been clearer, as there is a number of Peter's that work on the show.

But, YES, Peter Williams, the resident Jimaican bad guy. He's such a nice person, and absolutely loves his cricket.

Question for Gatecon?

Did Don S. Davis attention conventions as a fan? I know he goes to Twin Peaks and SG-1, but Twin Peaks has only been off the air ten years... so before that..(Hint!)

That was a thrilling compliment though! Good for you all, Gatecon!

Good question. Actually I don't know. It is possible that he would have attended a lot of Macguyver cons, as he was involved in that show for a long time, first as a standin, then as a reocurring guest role.

Something to ask him at Gatecon 2001 I think. It would make for a good question.
