I don't remember seeing much of Dos in 'MacGyver' fandom, but I wasn't very active at this time. That pesky thing called work. But after having the chance to meet the gentleman [in every sense of the word... well ... he *has* got some real paint-peeler dirty jokes. :} ] he's on my book of 'Actors You Should Go Out Of Your Way To Meet'.

With Richard, Allan and I as mods and the three of us at the con site for, what? a least 7 plus days [I'm looking at Monday through the following Wens. as an extra set of hands], we're gonna be burning up the hotel's Internet link just keeping up on what's happening here.

Well I shall probably be there now..... I had interviews in Vancouver two weeks later originally, but they have now been rescheduled to the 25th September, so I shall just travel a few days before, take in the convention and stay on for the interviews. So I have filled out the form and will send it off in the next day or two, when I've checked my poor little credit card balance. I've never been to one of these and I shall be alone too.



It's my first time.....please be gentle with me you guys!

You will never be alone at Gatecon. You will make so many friends (and fast). I was almost shocked at how friendly everyone was last year.

You will meet a great bunch of people.

Hi Sam,

Great that you will be coming...

Not sure about on these boards, but Germany has a large contingent coming over for the con. There was clase to 20 Germans last year, and I would expect the same (if not more) this year.

Those Germans sure love their Stargate..... It's great to see.

Hey I am from Vancouver too, Burnaby to be more exact and I really hope to go to gatecon but I will not have my friends with me because they don't like stargate as much as I do but I really hope to see a LOT of stargate fans, see ya there. :rolly2:

We actually held last years Gatecon in Burnaby. (not that I got to see much of it)

And you might see one or two Stargate fans at gatecon (or even 700 of them )
