The SG1 and Mob hockey game. SG1 wears a bright blue, it will bring out Daniel's eyes <sigh> and what color should the Mob wear?

Oh, I'd say red would be a good color for the mob, cause when they get ahold of this idea, it's gonna be like waving a red flag in front of a bull!!!!!

The SG1 clones will just have to play with a Cronos and play nicely.... my clones promise to only demand that I get down and worship them, of course I have no control over when they will do this.... hopefully not in the middle of the game! Make sure we have plenty of kneepads at hand!



They also promise not to use a staff weapon as a baseball

and i'm liking this hockey game idea -- but in case anyone's curious -- it takes a lot of nimble finger skills to 'type' a hockey game online -(did it once in a chat and my hands hurt for a few hours afterward -- and i only 'played' one period!)

the Cronos clone could be the goalie -- he'd be wearing some pads - i hope - getting hit w/ a puck that's been slapped at about 100 mph is gonna hurt - but, since he's a snake-head he should be alright (don't kill me for typin' snake head - it's easier than goa'uld (tho i just typed that too))

oh - and since these are clones - guess they can play w/o pads - but definitely need the helmets -- wouldn't want serious head injuries -- even in angsty stories head injuries suck --- (hehehe)

hmmmmm -- do we get to go into the locker room too?? :naughty:

one more thing -- are Major Davis clones gonna play too? he'd have to be a forward tho - he's a bit small for defense, we'll leave defense to Teal'c Clones and Jack Clones --

okay - so - SG-1's line - up - forwards - Major Davis, Sam, and Daniel?? (suggestions/substitutions)
Defense - Teal'c and Jack
Goal tender - Cronos --
that sound good???

then, the MOB team -- forwards -- ?? i'll play center if you want (time to make like Wayne Gretzky) --
who wants defense? who wants goal?? wingers????
oh - and we get to wear pads and stuff -- wouldn't do much good for US to get hurt, now would it?? :naughty:

....and if my Cronos clones go into goal, then they'll definitely have helmets. I am not having them spending good worshipping time healing injuries.....

And of COURSE we get to go in the locker room...... d'uh.... Isn't that the whole point of the darn exercise? At least it is for me..... In fact Rugby would be better because everyone goes into a huge hot steaming bath at the end........ *Anni gets very flustered at the thought!*

anyway -- the locker room thing was just to see the comments -(was kinda hopin' some clones would jump in and voice their opinions <hint hint>)

well - since this is OUR hockey game, arena, and locker room - we can have a big steaming bath instead -- but i think they have the big open showers in the locker rooms - is that good enough?? :naughty:

hmm - getting tackled by the goalie, well, wingers might get clobbered a bit -- depends on how you play - if you play the 'crash the net' kinda game - wingers are good - goalies poke at ppl who get in front of the net --

see - if i play center - i'll either face-off against one of the 3 forwards - but Jack'll be in charge of making sure *I* don't get past him ---

Okey dokey......... I'll be a winger then! But Cronos says that he won't clobber me, because then I won't be in any condition to worship him properly..... However he thinks that the huge steaming bath in the middle of the locker room is an excellent idea...as long as Hockey Jack keeps his distance with his big stick . Cronos says that if he wanted an unforgettable experience with a big stick, he would have taken a female host!

but - if i don't post that a couple times - i lose and and forget what we decided -- <bad memory lately>

oh -and since i'm a highlander fan - do you have any idea how hard it is to start spelling Kronos like this --> Cronos??? aaarrrrggghhhhh ---- it's sooooo hard -- so used to Kronos - Valentine Pelka (wonderful actor) -- ugh --

which leads to another odd trivia fact -- SG-1 and HL --
Peter Wingfield - on both shows where there is a character named Kronos/Cronos -- and he also plays a guy who's immortal - sort of -- in both shows -- (yeah, i pick up on weird stuff like that)

Actually H2 I spell Cronos as Kronos in my Stargate novel.... I find it easier to think of him as that and flesh out the character myself!

so if you want to call him Kronos, he says he has no objections..... He says you can call him anything you like, just don't call him late for dinner (or pay)!

And if so, isn't that the actor who plays the bad General guy with Peter Wingfield in Queen of Swords?

Yes, he was one of the four horsemen (Kronos)..... and he did appear on Queen of Swords, as Colonel Luis Montoya. the actor's name is Valentine Pelka, quite an accredited English actor..... appeared in loads of stuff here, but he's also been in a few films. First Knight is just one of them.

and yes, he was on QoS - tho i never saw him - why? b/c no one in my area carried the show (Peter Wingfield w/drawl - <sigh>)

can i get a Major Davis? he'll go nicely on the shelf w/ Bad to the Bone Jack and Hockey Jack -- (man, it's like collecting barbie dolls - only cooler!!)
