YKYBWTMSGWhen

oy! perhaps i should put this somewhere under "extreme Stargate obsession" or perhaps "physical dependance on stargate" (anybody ever experienced withdrawal symptoms?)

i got an English project to do, guess what topic i chose:

Describe the significant cultures of the world

i screamed 'YES!' finally i get a taste of what daniel does, while the rest of my group members, all they could talk about was cults (cuz teach said we could do that if we felt like it).. course then all i could think of was the cult of setesh...

I did nearly the same thing once. We had an english assignment on different types and forms of writing.
So what did I do mine on?

(Stargate) Fan Fiction.

When I was doing my English Language GCSE. (Yup, NOT the mock), I wrote an entire essay question on how I loved reading, naturally I diverted onto SF, but not Stargate. Doing the books wouldn't of been as much fun as the series, but it would of been...interesting.
Strangely enough, my English teacher thought 'reading' was a good subject. Good job I didn't tell her which kind of books.

You are using a drawing to discribe something at work and the patient says 'nice drawing' you say deadpan 'thankyou' and start giggling so much you have to leave the room. How embarrasing!!!!

YKYBWTMS when

your boss decides to pronounce your name (Michelle) as Mitch-elly and you have to ask him to repeat himself cos you thought he just said Machello. (yeah, I know, I'll start on the tablets soon, I promise)

when you start watching every single show that has even a passing referrence to egypt, astrophysics, military/air force stuff, not to mention those shows that are actually based on those topics.

When you buy a book on Ancient Egyptian Religion.

(sad thing is, I did, yesterday).

My Dad got a courtesy car this week, and the number plate ended in DND, and all I could think was how cool it would have been if it was DHD....

That was me, shoveling snow! LOL! I kept picturing Teal'c in "Beneath The Surface", and wishing he were around to give me a break - not to mention a little eye candy! ;-)

Also, YNYB....
when you're at the deli counter, and you mean to tell the clerk you want the "Golden Roast Turkey Breast" but you swear it came out as "Goa'ulden Roast..." instead!

You're watching the brilliant Michael Wood (Historian) on the BBC and thinking "Daniel Jackson could have been based on that guy!"

dkraft and I seem to be the home cleanup types because I am chipping away putty from a window pane that was installed in 1938 (Now broken by a ball and a "horse" )to find out if I should get a pane that is 14 x 16 or 14 by 34 and wishing Teal'c could lend a steady, strong, and beautiful hand or hands (I think the body is attached to them) to do the chipping! (I hate chisels and glass!)

they upgrade your computers at work and you have to make up new passwords...and they're stargate, and a couple of planetary designations you've memorized

Your son gets an Action Man for his birthday and you think
"Wow, that almost looks like Jack in that episode where....."
