This thread is for Stargate fans who not only like the Stargate stars for the're rolls on Stagate SG-1, but also thier other work...

For instance A small roll in a movie would be a "Star Sighting" please lets not be totally obvious, an mention RDA on General Hospitsl, or Macgyver, but other no to obvious ones...

An example would be the Movies I just saw...

* The Sixth Day -- Both Don S. Davis (Hammy) and (Sorry I forget his name) but Major Davis both have small roles in this "wonderful" Arnold Movie...

And for you Goa'uld fans...

* Antitrust

There is a small (almost un-noticable) spot toward the end of this not too bad computer geek movie when a door swings open and we see a security gaurd standing in the archway... adn it is none other than the recently killed.... Chronos!

Lets see what else we can come up with, this is just recent movies, lets see how far back we can go...

Recent Sighting in recent movies...
Hostage Negotiator .. DSD as an FBI department head. Filmed for TV this year... He had red hair surrounding his dome! That was the most interesting part of the movie! I kept looking for anyone else and didn't see them. Saw some from X-Files and Outer Limits though.

Colin Cunningham

Now I remember Major davis's name... Colin Cunningham. And he was about the only good role in the Sixth Day!

Upon my second viewing of the movie "Antitrust" (yes I watched it twice, it really good, if your a computer geek like me.) I see a very small role by Colin in this movie as well! Boy he really gets around. In this movie he playes a security gaurd on the campus of this large (microsoft-ish) company! So both movies have two stargate actors in it!

Ma'tec! how could you forget that Colin Cunningham is Major Davis?? <gasp> -- j/k -- took me a while to figure out which name in the guest credits matched him too -- i just checked imdb.com - i cheated ------

well - none of these are movies - b/c i can't remember any off the top of my head -- but ----

DSD - Highlander (forgot ep name)

Michael Shanks - Highlander - ep: The Zone

Peter Williams - MacGyver - ep: Colision Course (gotta look really hard - b/c it doesn't really look like him, but it is)

Chris Judge - MacGyver - ep: Live and Learn (he looks diff too - HAIR!)

and - just watch the Outer Limits -- you'll run across just about any actor (except RDA!) from Stargate there -- i don't know how RDA has missed appearing in an ep - but he has -- i think just about everyone else has been on it tho --

Don S Davis was in Needful Things, I think. Grr, memory!

He was in one of Stephen King's movies based on a book. He played a deputy, I think. I think he was the one who was looking for a rare baseball card.

Don't quote me on that. I just remember him in a King movie, and it wasn't Thinner D, obviously), Christine, or the Langoliers (which will be on Sci-Fi on Monday).

who does he play in that movie? I want to watch for him, but I'm more concerned about Arnie than the others

I know he's not the bad guy, because I saw him do a nose dive out of a skyscraper. Hehe, that was cool.

CC's role in Sixth Day

Colin plays the "Anti-Cloning" Radical activist in the movie, you can tell its him plain as day, he's wearing a skull cap and you see him up really close when Arnie...um well I better not say, but he doesnt jump out a window. Anyway and DSD plays a Minister in his 3 second appearance.

Oh and Highlander II, Thanks for all the good spots to look, I saw the Outer Limits with MS, but the rest I have yet to see. And I really want to see the Macgyver shows with PW and CJ in them!

I saw Amanda Tapping in a kid's movie on the Disney channel. I can't remember the name right now.

She was wearing a prissy dress, I think it was pink. After seeing her in military dress all the time it was a weird change of pace.

Are those spots before the last 45 minutes of the movie? That is all I've seen of it so far (saw it in Genetics class of all places)

Ma'tec, you get WGN out of Chicago? You can catch Macgyver on ther at 3am (I'm not sure if it stills shows during the day.) You can set the VCR up to record it

Oh, little trivia: Did you know MS decided to get into acting after walking past the set of Macgyver? MS is a native of Vancouver, so I bet he walked past lots of sets

i guess you guys know DSD and TR are in Best of Show. and *hangs head in shame* i was watching Kuffs the other day (by accident, i swear--it was just ten minutes!) and DSD plays a cop at the shooting range. he's also in Conair.

Both Amanda and Don have been in the x-files. Don was Scully's dad who has a Navy Captain and died of a heartache. He was in 2 episodes I think ("Beyond the Sea" - Series One and "One Breath" - Series two)
Amanda got to play a hooker who sleeps with Skinner and dies in "Avatar".

That's all I've seen any of the cast in.

Personally, I'd like to *hear* them doing voice overs on the Simpsons! (Patty and Selma could meet the man they worship... Macgyver!!) :laugh2: :laugh2:

Kuffs was oscar caliber wasnt it? Funny that I missed DSD in it... But No worries, as I own a copy of it...(hangs head even lower)Havent seen Best in Show... and I have to rewatch Conair now to try and see him. Grrrr!

I just saw the actor that plays Martouf on and episode of the Outer Limits. The episode is called "Zig Zag". He plays a cybercolumnist and he looks pretty damn good in the suit they have on him, oh and did I mention how nice and sexy he looks wearing all black and a leather jacket? :rolly2:

I found an episode of Viper (ugh!) with Teryl Rothery in it. The really strange thing about it is that it isn't mentioned on her website, but it is definately her. I wrote a letter to her about it, but she never replied (sniff!)

Colin Cunningham is in "Best of Show" too - don't know which character he is - just know he's in it ----

don't remember seeing DSD in Kuffs -- (haven't watched that movie in a lloooonngggg time --- i did see it in the theater - only cost me $1 -- cheap theater - 2nd runs of movies)
