Star Sightings

I saw the ugly, evil chieftain from Emancipation in the film Pearl Harbor. He plays the leader of the Japanese army. He looks a lot different without his long hair. (He's still ugly though!)

I'm so happy I get to post this first! Colin Cunningham was on the pilot for "Dead Last" as a scheaming, amoral record producer.

Not being able to find a peep about "Dead Last" anywhere yet, or where to find CC's c.v., I'm assuming Colin Cunningham is from Canada. So is my boss. Mr. Cunningham was so good as a jittery record guy he'd be perfect for when they get around to making a movie about my boss Rob Reynolds' life story. He'd be a lock for the role of a wacky Internet company CEO.

:D Folks on the list also know I'm dangerous with Photoshop and guess what! I did a bit of a comparasion picture to show you the proof of my words.

I was watching Hideaway ('95 based on the book by Dean koontz)
and i came across two surprising faces. Tom McBeath (Maybourne) and Don S. Davis (Hammond) were both in it. I nearly fell off my chair in shock. Mcbeath was the PI and DSD one of the doctors.

Our illustrious Major Davis has a thread in the 'other humans' section of the SG Characters forum ---

AND Mr. Cunningham has his own website --- http://www.colincunningham.com -- (plugging for Lisa again)

he also has a fan club that he endorses - along w/ the website (as you'll see if you go there) -- the site has any/all info you could probably possibly want to find --- there's a message board (that Colin posts to when he has a spare second) and a link to the Yahoo! club if you become totally obsessed!!

have fun on your search!!!!!!

Okay - just found this --

Gary Jones was in 2 eps of Highlander (why didn't i catch this b4??) and he is also a creative/production -type for the Canandian (recently pseudo-cancelled) program "Big Sound"

actually - he's not from Canada -- he's from California, he moved to Vancouver and attended the Vancouver Film School --

(I cannot BELIVE i missed this the 1st time around! Lisa would KILL me! -- btw - Lisa - the fanclub pres, is currently in Vancouver schmoozing w/ the man himself -- lucky girl!!)

I saw Teryl Rothery in a film called The Operative. She played a bank manager who gets caught up in a robbery and when it goes wrong, she gets taken hostage. I lose count of the number of times she gets a gun pointed at her head and she's the only woman in the bank who doesn't scream when the guys pull out guns.

i was channel surfing the other day and came across a familiar face on CHIPS--Carmen Argenziano (Jacob Carter). only saw him for a second though.
also weren't Teryl Rothery and the original Cassie in that moronic movie 'Masterminds'?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet (I'm too lazy to read the WHOLE thread), but, last night I was watching this movie made in the late '80s. It was called 'The Accuesed' staring Jodie Foster. I nearly fell of my chair everytime I saw someone from Stargate, there were just that many of them. I saw:

Carmen Argenziano
Garwin Sandord
Tom McBeath (who looked really sleazy by the way lol)
Jerry Wasserman(Whitlow from Touchstone)
and the guy who plays Dr. Warren

I challenge anyone to find a film with more Stargate extras than this one. It was amazing.

OH Shelby S. You really shouldn't have....
The Ranger, the Cook and the Hole in the Sky has several...
Don S. Davis
Robert Wisdon.... Samuels
Jay Brazeau......... Harlan
Tom Butler............Trofsky
Alan C. Peterson... Canon (the guy with the ring) in "Demons"
Thats five! and I bet there are others with more!

thread revival time --

why? b/c i was yakking w/ Morrigan and had to just drop so good ole MacGyver trivia on her -- so -- gotta mention this --

in "Window of Opportunity"--

the little guy - Malikai -- he was one of the Bozers (one of the dorky brothers who were always in Mac's way) on MacGyver --

the two brothers were generally together - usually in the 'dream' sequence eps - but the two guys also played other roles on Mac - Robin Mossley is one of 'em and i don't remember the other one's name - but the 'other' one, he's the one in this ep --

(okay -that was rambling - oh well -- someone's gotta)

i noticed amanda tapping in rent a kid 1, don s dabis in this mini series thingy called atomic train and teryl rothery in a mini series called sole suvivor.

Don S. Davis was in Con Air - he's actually credited as Man In Car (as Don Davis).

He's driving along in his car with his wife, minding his own business, when Nicolas Cage drops a corpse out of an airplane and onto his windscreen.

Teryl Rothery's been in way too many things to list. She's usually a doctor or someone's mother in a made for television movie :)

Coren Nemec was the character Jude Royce on "Smallville" this evening. Mean, nasty man with a gun. V. freaky to sit down to the WB and see him there, but hell, it's shot in Vancouver so he was bound to show up somewhere on one of the shows there.

And, I caught a glimpse of JR Bourne on the teasers for "My Guide to Becoming A Rockstar" which airs Thursday March 14th on the WB. So, be sure to set up the tape for your dose of "Mr. Teeth."

And how can we forget that Corin Nemec had a TV series all to himself in Parker Lewis Can't Lose. I saw an episode on Foxtel last week - really bad......:D

One thing to remember is all young boy actors grow up and take a crack at being nasty, mean, cheating, dark, insane and nasty characters. Especially those caught up in the 80's and early 90's television as kid actors.

hmm - has this been mentioned?

Colin Cunningham - Major "Hottie" Davis was on an ep of Viper -

(it was on this morning)

and JR Bourne is in the really bad remake of "13 ghosts" -- don't see the movie - it's bad - i mean JR's great - but the movie is really bad --
