Colin plays the "Anti-Cloning" Radical activist in the movie, you can tell its him plain as day, he's wearing a skull cap and you see him up really close when Arnie...um well I better not say, but he doesnt jump out a window. Anyway and DSD plays a Minister in his 3 second appearance.

Oh and Highlander II, Thanks for all the good spots to look, I saw the Outer Limits with MS, but the rest I have yet to see. And I really want to see the Macgyver shows with PW and CJ in them!

you're welcome! WGN out of chicago carries MacGyver - and you can catch it at some ungodly hour of the morning - 3am (don't remember is that EST or CST) and i think it still comes on at 10am -- hafta check those local listings -- but i think WGN is gonna move Mac back to it's 2300 hr (EST) time slot once baseball is over ---

oh - if ya wanna cheat - go to www.imdb.com - search for stargate - then search the 'guest appearances' section of it's listing and you can locate any (well, most) of the guest stars, plus the regulars, and find out what they've been in --- (it takes a long time to get through those too tho ----- )

What day? every day? Gosh. If I wait two more hours. Ak! that would be night number 4 up til 3am.

Oh, and I didn't know that AT was on XF. Got to git out my tape again. Sheesh. Guess it's good to get 'played a corpse' on your c.v. when out landing a spot on a sf show. IMHO that's got to be hard.

yes - MacGyver airs everyday on WGN -----

Yeah, it's cool. It runs 7am - 8am here in SoCal and I watch it while I'm getting ready for work.

Never noticed how much sarcasm Mac got away with, it just was a kinder, gentler sarcasm.

I'm told Colin Cunningham is basically an extra in the scene in the butcher shop in Best in Show. Might have a line or two. Haven't seen the movie since I heard about his part, so I can't describe it any better.

MacGyver is great ----

okay -- back to Ma'tec's original subject --- star sightings --

did you all know that Carmen Argenziano was in an ep of Profiler?? early season 1 -- don't remember his character - just remember he was there -----

oh - and i'm still waiting for Michael des Barres (Murdoc from MacGyver) to show up on Stargate --- come on!! they have to have a part for him somewhere -------- (unless of course RDA doesn't like him - but i can't see where that would be -- RDA likes everybody!!)

Hey Bee, is that film called Rent-A-Kid coz ive seen that film about a hundred times but that was way b4 i started watching Stargate so i didnt no who it was and now i cant get hold of the vid coz my local vid shop threw it out!

Amanda Tapping was also in an episode of 'Due South' and she played an alien abductee (i think!) but i dont no wot the episode was called.

Michael Shanks was in some film about mars (i think that it was called Mission to Mars)

Teryl Rothery was in 'Andre' a film about a seal who lives with some family in the '50's possibly. She played a zoo-keeper type person for seals.( I dont no wot they r called.)

Teryl, Amanda and Don Davis were all in x-files playing various people.

Carmen Argenziano (Jacob Carter) was in 'Gone in 60 Seconds'
for a few seconds playing a cop. Blink and u will miss him.

Bobbie Phillips (Kynthia in 'Brief Candle') is in x-files and in the movie Chameleon 2. (Havnt seen movie, just tv ads so dont ask wot it's about coz i don't no!)

One of the women from 'Thor's Hammer' (the 1 who said sumthing about not being able 2 spare horses) was in x-files. She was Scully's godson's mum in 'The Jersey Devil'

Has to be something else. IIRC that was a Gary Senice flick. Where did you gawk him in that movie? All I saw there was some guy who I bet was on Red Dwarf showing up as a technician. And of course a guy that was in the XF-Movie as a the head of the old boys club. Armin-- somebody?

I actually got one that can be proven!

Jay Acovone, the guy who plays Kawalsky was in the episode "Spare Parts" on the show The Sentinel. He played Gary Hendickson (thanks IMDB.com!), a car thief. He is also in Cast Away, as a pilot. I didn't notice that (as I have yet to get past him in Russia, at the very begining of the movie), but my brother (also a Stargate fanatic) pointed it out.

*sigh* Gary shot at Jim.... that was a no-no.

re: Cynvision

I don't no wot the film is called but it's about some people who go on a mission 2 mars and MS plays 1 of the people stuck on the planet who builds a shelter with an air-lock inside a cave.

oOOOOh!!! yes! that was the other version that I got the regular Misson to Mars confused with when I was at the video rental shop. Sorry. Yes, you are right. Funky movie.

U no that guy from the episode 'Crossroads' who is the new host 4 the goa'uld? Has he been in Star Trek coz he seems familiar? If not, wot has he been in?

Jay Acovone was also in an ep of The Pretender --- ep "Once in a Blue Moon" (Btw - Michael des Barres is in this ep too!) --

and -- of course --- John de Lancie -- was in an ep of MacGyver --
he played some arms dealer guy that Mac was conned into breaking out of some foreign prison by some woman claiming de Lancie's character was her brother --- (don't remember the ep title - don't know why - i usually remember ALL of them!)

and yes -- Peter Wingfield - Tanith/Hebron from "Crossroads" is Methos on Highlander ---

anyone else??????

Interesting...

Galyn Görg (Kendra from Thor's Hammer) played Helen of Troy in an episode of Xena.

Teryl Rothery did the English dubbed voice of Kodachi Kuno in the anime series Ranma 1/2... that character is a bit insane and likes to play with plant poisons, so every time Dr. Fraiser talks about toxins, I get a bit of a flashback!

And I didn't put it together until recently that Tuplo from Broca Divide was played by the same actor that played Nem in Fire and Water... you know, if you add a few gills here and there, he's pretty unrecognizable!

Mili Avital, Sha'Uri from the Stargate movie, played the main role of Scheherezade beautifully in a TV movie miniseries thing called Arabian Nights.

Stargate Movie

Check out this site. http://www.dtheatre.com. Apparently it's not just a rumor anymore, there will be a movie. Wonder if everyone of the cast will sign on for it.

And the guy who played Nem and Tuplo, Gerard Plunkett, was in the episode of "7 days" that played last night in the US.

Ooh, another one! For a person who deosn't watch much TV anymore....

DSD was on Macgyver as a cement truck driver in the episode "Blow Out".

It was his cement that stopped the mail truck from blowing out a nice chunk of Americana.

DSD was also Dana Elcar's stunt double in MacGyver-- (trivia tidbit from the MacList)

and Tamsin Kelsey - Garwin in Thor's Hammer/Thor's Chariot - she was a character named Lulu in the MacGyver episode - "The Lost Amadeus" -- one of THE funniest episodes! Lulu drives Mac crazy!

and - Gabrielle Miller -- Thetys from Brief Candle - was Michelle Webster on Highlander -- episode "Rite of Passage" (she also had another part in a flashback scene - a character named Bess)

okay - that's all i can think of -- for now -----

I've done sum research coz it's the skool hols and I'm bored and here's wot I came up with:

Gary Jones (Sgt. Davis) is in Homeward Bound 2, Andre (as a reporter), Sliders & Highlander.

Dan Shea (Sgt. Siler) is RDA's stunt double in sum SG-1 eps.

Steve Makaj (Col.Makepeace) is in Dark Angel & The X-Files.

Peter Williams (Apophis) is in The X-Files, Due South & MacGyver.

Jay Acovone (Major Kawalsky) is in Cast Away (as a pilot)Independence Day (as a guard), The X-Files, Sliders & Friends (as a fireman i think).

Tobias Mehler (Lt Graham Simmons) is in Sabrina the Teenage Witch (as Harvey) & Millenium.

Jay Brazeau (Harlan in Tin Man & Double Jeopardy) is Andre.
(An awful lot of people in Stargate have been in the movie 'Andre'!)

Colin Cunningham (Major 'Hottie' Davis, sorry couldn't resist!) is in Antitrust, Dark Angel & The X-Files.
(A lot of people in Stargate have also been in The X-Files 2!)

That's all so far. I'll update this if I find ne more.

It's no mystery you'd get a bunch of people in the classic eps of XF also knocking around SG-1. They pull from the same talent pool up there. Prolly back in the 'old days' in Vancouver, if you could remember which camera was yours and could hit a mark you were hired! j/k :wink2: 'Corse now they've gotten respectable with age!
