I'll look out for you in September Abydos.... although I am not part of anything special at all..... no VIP tickets, no cocktail party, no banquet...... I bought my ticket far too late because originally I was going to Vancouver earlier for an interview, and would have missed Gatecon. Then they put the interview back until closer to the end of September (25th) only six days after I have to be in Dallas, so I decided to just combine the two visits and sandwich Gatecon inbetween.
The only thing I WILL be doing is propping up the bar and looking out for folk like yourself, prepping for the interview and doing some sightseeing. I can't see myself standing in line for an autograph or a picture. I'm not much of a fan of the main actors really. I just like the show. Anyway, nobody asks ME for an autograph when I've done my job well!!!!
I'd like to have met Ron Halder, but not for the reasons that most folk would imagine, despite my unashamed evil and wicked cravings for the character he plays! Those cravings are ONLY for the character.

I'd like to have met him because he played the character that turned SG1 from just another interesting show, to something I actually set time aside to watch. the fact that his portrayal of Chronos made me sit up and take notice tells me that he's a fine actor and it would be nice to be able to tell him so. But I count myself as an admirer rather than a fan. Me and rabid fandom don't mix at all!
Anyway, my badge will simply say Anni... and I'm not hard to find. Once seen never forgotten they say!
