okay, I've got info from the states:
The word was that we where getting the next Harry Potter book
in July,2002 which is now...So i went to the Barnes & Noble book store to check on possible release dates & got nothing from the cashier other then "we don't know" so i called & asked for a manager & was told that the release date was set for july ( i guess books had already been printed & everything) however, there was a discrepancy in # 5 that no one caught untill right before the release date soo, there was a huge money loss & all the books got recalled( i checked because they will probably be worth something if anyone can get a copy) & absolutly no info on when the re- release date will be ( & beleave me, i begged 4 info)
so thats all i know at this point ............

but the 1st movie was good & the 2nd is already showing previews soo thats something to look forward too....

I lay absolutely no claim to any of these being true, especially the rumours, but I thought you might want to hear what I had. In fact I am very doubtful as to most of this.

-Professor Lupin makes a return
-Book 5 Probably wont be as long as Book 4

-In this book, we will see places only mentioned in previous books.
-We'll Learn if Percy Sides with Fudge, or his Family
-The Book Hasn't Been Finished Yet, And there is No Current Release Date, This Has Been Confirmed by

Didnt need to email the publishers (yup, it's bloomsbury), it says right there on their webiste - they dont know when it will be published

JK Rowling is happily writing the fifth Harry Potter book and we will announce a publication date once we have received the finished manuscript. As soon as we have any more news about the publication date we will update this area.
