Book5: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

I've never heard of that character in particular dying, there's been quite a few rumours about who it's gonna be, i don't think anyone knows for sure (thank goodness, I'd rather it was.....er....well I like all the characters...so i'd rather they all stayed alive, but if the rumours are true.....). Lets just hope it isnt that character who dies....it's one of my favourites! :rolly2:

I think it is almost definite....I've just read this entire thread, and it's repeated a lot of times....It seems to be more of a fact than a rumour....

Who ever it's going to be, it's not going to be good with some fans of the books, that much is clear
 
Depends. If it was someone like crabbe i don't think there would be too much of a public outcry do you?? But it better not be a single weasley cos i love them lot especially Fred and George!! Ok..i dont like that....old...one...snooty...forget his name...went to work at misistry of magic....ummm...

I knew it wasn't going to be in MAy. I could have siad so long ago. my sis finally showed me this awesome thread! I don't know how but I always missed Miss figg in book four I guess it never registered that it was the same cuz He says all the names so fast.
But This thread is definatley interesting and I'm glad to have read it. and I heard it was due to be out in November in the first place. But I've learne dalot just in reading this thread that i didn't know before!:cool:

It is now October, when is this book coming out?! I have waited too long! My patience is very thin. Wonder who will die hope it isn't any of my favorite characters!:( :blpaw: :blpaw:

I can agree with those sentiments. Tomorrow it will be November. The second film is out in a fortnight, the third film is filming in Spring 2003, and still no fifth book. The Bloomsbury website has exactly the same thing it had back in July 2002.

It's so long since I've read these books, I've forgotten what I was waiting for.
 
JKR interviewed on BBC Newsround.

JK Rowling was interviewed at the film premier of 'Chamber of Secrets' for the BBC 'Newsround' programme.

She confirmed some the rumours and things she has already said.

1) The 5th book is "almost" finished. She has to "tweak" a few things before giving it to the publishers.

2) It is currently 38 chapters long!!

3) Asked if it is dark, she replied yes, "There is a bad death."
 
It is getting infuriating that we are still awaiting the fifth book but seeing as JK Rowling is also pregnant lets hope she gets it finished before her baby 'shows up'

Bloomsbury still say the same thing they have been doing for months, and at another place it said that it might be june 2003 before it will be published.


However, seeing as it is impossible to give a date really my advice would be to be patient and hold out.....all good things come to those who wait ;)

ive been talking to a few freinds and i know that it is still rumor that a main charecter, or some one close to Harry will die, my freinds and i speculate that it will be Dumbeldore. Cause of the little thing about how he was the only Wizard that Voldermort feared, and that if hes dead he wont have any one to fear any more, he will reighn supreme, but i just cant see that happening. comments.......
