I don't know about the return of Ra from the Abydos Pyramid. We saw him get ripped to pieces by Nuclear radiation. The only way I would warrant his return if it were from an Alternate reality.

Well - that is the point. We all think we saw it. But did we just see him revealing his true face, a bright light, and a cut back to the destruction of the ha'tak? Its been done before, and would not be TOO cheesy if they edit it well to show the escape.
 
But we did see him die. We saw him melting, well we did at least in the version I saw. You must have got the before the 8 pm watershed version.

But did we? [In this case maybe we did?] It could be we only saw sufficient melt off that he was injured for five years... ready for a massive come-back. But that is what come-backs are all about: like the old 1930s cliff-hangers - show something at the end of one week, and something else the start of the next, which is theoretically the same, but not quite.

Anubis is the man who we shall see. I want to see him in all the same attire as the Anubis warrior wore in the movie. if we do not see the Jackal Headed man then it is not Anubis. Anubis is jackal headed and if this new Goa'uld just bears the name of Anubis but not the head then he is not Anubis IMHO.

the thing is, they keep asking questions that will never be answered, such as in desperate measures (where did that goa'uld freak go? will we ever see him again?), and many other eps. i don't think they know where they're going, there's a lot of things we'd like to know but that we still don't, maybe it's because the eps are too short (40 mns...) and it's not enough to answer all these questions, every time i feel like saying "hey it's not over yet! we still don't know that and that and this!!!!
u understand what i'm saying?i don't know how to say it, but it's became less interesting, so in season 6 i want them to answer all these questions, to finish what they had begun.

another thing i think is stupid : they should't have brought up the sj thing in season 4 coz it no longer means anything now in season 5, it's as if nothing had ever happened between them so, i think it's useless.

and a last thing : why are the next eps postponed to january???
is it because of these f*****g m*****s who transformed my favorite city in a total mess?

oh and another thing: in between two fire, they wiped out tollana and killed Nareem, and since then we never heard of them again, as if it was not important at all.. disapointing

The eps showing n January have nothing to do with Bin laden-he's a far worse threat than the Goa'uld! They do that to keep you in suspense until those cold winter months stuck inside scratching your forearms looking for your next Stargate fix. Luckily my symbiote protects me from the effects of Stargate withdrawal. I always have a Stargate jones going on-and that concert being on last night instead of Stargate? Hasn't the world been through enough already? I, too, think the eps are too short-we are due for a 2 hour episode-correct me if I'm wrong, but the only time that happened was in the Pilot (COTG). And 2 parters don't count!!! I'm still mega-pissed that I missed Wormhole Extreme- anyone wanna help out a poor Jaffa like me?

Since no "animals" are known on this planet to wear accessories or clothes, it is statistically quite likely that the SGC will discover a planet with humanoids who do not have the same concepts of modesty, and a suitable weather that also allows nudity...
 
Hey, good point- and I want to see leather-lots of women in leather-oh, and sex, lots and lots of sex-and I want the SGC to discover a planet where Jaffa-Jim is damn sexy and all the chicky's can't resist him!

Actually, sort of replying to myself :reyes:, it is implied that most of the humanoid planets out-there are due to Goa'uld nicking humans. Humans have worn "clothes" from pretty much the first records, so were easily wearing them by the time the first Goa'uld started nicking people.

Therefore, it is most likely that any earth-sourced humans would be wearing clothes. However, there must be other non-earth sourced humanoids - or the small possibility that they grew out of their modesty... after all, the Romans had communal toilets, and even did business there (no pun intended).

Well, having now seen the relevant S4 eps, sopmething was perhaps brewing for a while. BUT, they are both professionals, and know it can't get serious, so perhaps in a way, the problems with the Zatarc thingy is enough of a dampner.

And as for the big kissy thing, it never happened. Sort of.
