I don't think that Space Precinct ever aired here in New Zealand, although we did have the novelisations.

The TV channels here tend to be a bit snobby when it comes to science fiction. :(
 
'Space Precient' was good & it's a shmae that I didn't get to see all of the episodes though :crying: :crying:
 
I cant believe i only just discovered a Space Precinct thread! (Thanks for that Annette)!

Mainly what i remember of this show is me always wanting Jack Haldane and Jane Castle to get it on, and i remember the very last ep where they finally did get together and i remember they were just lying on the couch together and kissing, it was sweet :D

Did SP ever reach 100 eps? Cos if it didnt, then its less likely to be repeated.

This is probably the reason. They need a certain number of episodes to get a series syndicated. They sell them as a package.
 
Another example of this is "Queer As Folk" that i used to watch, it was an excellent series and it took off over here in the UK but the creators didnt feel like it needed any more episodes and so left it as it was at the end of the second season :( its a shame that this is the way things have to be, but most popular sci-fi shows do get to 100 episodes and so theres usually no problem, except in this case of Space Precinct, does anybody know why it just stopped? Was it because it didnt get enough viewers or something? Sorry if this has already been covered but i havent had time to check the rest of the thread :(

I can only guess that the show stopped because the viewing figures got too low & so there was no point in carrying on showing it
 
I remember that when the series finale aired, i didnt actually realize it was the end of the whole series, i thought it was a season finale, i was kinda gutted when a few years on i realized that it hadnt actually returned lol :(
