shelby: i agree, sam was still really concerned about jack, and they will still have that bond for ages, after what they have been through together. i reckon the reason sam and mackay appear to get on so well is coz there is a good rapport between amanda tapping and dave hewlett (mackay), too!!

Don't get me wrong I don't hate Dr.McKay in fact, quite the contrary! I think he brings much needed humour to the show but as far as him and Sam go, I think she considers him to be too much of a lonely geek to ever have ne kind of serious thing with. Neway as Shelby said earlier, her heart belongs to Jack and it always will. U don't just stop loving someone just because you're 'not allowed to'. No matter what happens in the future, those two will always love each other. Do u need more evidence than

2 alternate realities and 2 future eps complete with angst and jealousy between Jack and Sam's husband Joe?!? In 2010 Joe knew that there was sumthing between Jack and Sam and that is why he was not happy about Sam either visiting him alone or helping him to effectively 'erase' their whole marriage. Come 2 think of it, Joe was not exactly very trusting. I thought marriage was supposed 2 b built on trust so it can't have been a very successful or happy marriage if he didn't trust his wife to be alone with another man (albeit one with whom she 'cared for' years ago!) and he also lied to her BIG TIME. Hardly a recipe for a 'perfect' life is it? She is much better off with Jack than without him in her life.

i agree, that sam and jack are still in love, because of all the things they've been through together. hell they've even died! and no one can replace that, no matter how cute, <<sob>> and endearing <<sob>> they are *sniff* ;)

but i can hope, huh?
 
Plus the writers kinda said no to that ne which way. However writers have been known to lie but I hope they were telling the truth. Sam and Jonas (from the point of view of non-shippers) would be almost as bad as Sam and Jack coz it's still in 'male/female lead romance' territory.

and if Sam was going to go for a geek, she would have gone for DJ. He has/had that adorable thing going for him, and he seemed to care much more for others - I think that appealed to Sam (see "Meridian").
 
i dont think sam found danny sexually attractive, sure he was good looking, but i dont think she was about to jump into bed with him. as i said, i think the scientists were brother-sister, and she loved him like that.
