Re: A Humble Plea

Oh, don't worry, I know full well where the blame lies for the Disaster That is Quinn. What would it take to make Quinn accpetable? Well, a complete rewrite of 'Meridian' in which Quinn is introduced as a believable character. That would do it...
I mean, he wouldn't have to be perfect, wouldn't need to have super powers. That would be just too boring. Having a few character flaws is good, just NOT the ones he was actually saddled with.
Um, no.
Well, 'The Smile' made me cringe in Meridian, and as to the rest of it, thanks to TPTB and their Monstrous Creation, I haven't been able to watch most of the current season, and thus have seen nothing to change my mind. Sorry.
And the all wonderful spin that they've been lathering on the poor guy to make him appear acceptable is just papering over the cracks and doesn't alter the basic crumbling edifice. Again, sorry.
Um, no. Not unless TPTB employ me as a scriptwriter to try and salvage something from the mess they got themselves into. :wink2:
ROFL! And beautifully grovelled, too!
Best wishes,

What may this mere mortal, this poor misplaced alien do to win your forgiveness? Jonas' sins are not of his own making, but are those of the writers and producers, at whose mercy his fate lies.

Will you not add your voice to intercede for him? Have pity on him and do not give him over to dark forces nor demand that his life be sacrificed in atonement for past deeds that were not of his making.
Um, no.
There are many who loved Daniel and mourned his loss, cursing the man who blackened his name and brought him to death (well, almost death -- something almost but not quite like death -- ok, well, transcendence which is reversable in the malleable world of the writers). Yet we have come to appreciate Jonas' smile and good humour, his devotion and his bravery.

We have found it in our hearts to forgive. Surely, mighty Queen, you have it in you to as much.
