Isn't 411 information? Just a guess. Totally worth the money and time to go though if anyone's wondering. Buy a ticket now, get it paid off on your credit card or whatever, then save up for the hotel and then when you've got that, save up for photos with the guests. Then save up to buy stuff to get autographed and any other things you might want. Then last but not least save money for food since you might want to eat a little here and there. Oh and don't forget money for alcohol if you're into that, it's pretty expensive. But overall the rate exchange from Canadian to American is still decent so you're not spending quite as much as you think. Party on!!!! Kim/SS

Ha! Got my ticket number, everyone! #159! Which I am happy with because, when you add all the digits together? It equals 6, which is like the family lucky number! (My brother Monotone Bob and myself always played as number 6 when we played basketball. Brotherly-sisterly love! *sighs*)

Tickets

Okay. I've got a few questions.

1. When do they stop selling Gatecon tickets? Do they stop selling tickets? Can you buy a ticket (or more tickets) in Febuary for example? (I'm guessing no, but I'm asking anyway: Do they sell tickets at the door?)

2. Is there a limit on tickets? There are ticket numbers yes. I heard there isn't a limit on the amount of tickets sold, but isn't there a people limit for rooms/halls at the con place?

We keep selling tickets online up to about 3 weeks before the convention.

The upper limit of the main convention room is 650 people (I think).

Thanks Allan. Another question: I'm assuming last gatecon had more people than the previous and this next one should have even more. Do you think this gatecon will exceed 600 people?

It would be a dream... It would mean that we would have a lot more money to get more of the bigger stars. Most cons we can only afford 1 of the big name stars, so it would definitely help us.

My only concern if we go too big is that we won't be able to get everyone into the autographs and photographs... The stars went 2 hours over their time this year to get everyone through (but that was mainly due to a broken camera), but if we go too big we can't possibly ask then to stay more and more and eat into their rest time.

I think 500 would be a nice number. I can't say if we would reach 600 this year, but it is a possibility.
