Origins within Midkemia

Pretty much everyone is now, well pretty much everyone that lives in anything bigger than a medium sized town

I live in a village of about 600 inhabitants probly less.....

But then severla have already spent time in Goal and we've a coule of serious criminal knocking about. Nice place in the country type stuff!

Well I live right outside London, and we have one pretty nasty guy round here, he's only 17 and last week was run over (and then reversed over) for not paying up to some serious drug dealers...

We all have it bad nowdays really...

Not good, thing was, I thought I had it quite good...
Oh well. It's just the country has gone down hill I spose -Rant Rave, Why not come down to Sanity's Cynosure for some light-hearted banter/rubbish talk? (In the Lounge)

Lincolnshire's not too bad i suppose. Its got lovely countryside and the crime life doesn't seem to be obvious at first glance. I live in Grantham, which has around 35 000 people inhabiting it. Luckily, i live on the outskirts in what i call an estate-village.;) Its like a mini-village on a hill over which you can see most of Grantham and escape it by going south through the fields and back roads. Lucky i don't live on the other side just past my school. Sprawling estates, crime every night, kids and especially semi-adults like myself skipping school. Not a nice place to live.

Anyway, didn't the Aal get destroyed by the Valheru nearly completely?

Yes, Feist only said that there were a few of them guarding the oracle and that they had inhabited 4 planets and all got destroyed

Where was that said? I can't remember that....Time to re-read some books I think...

It was Magician i think, although it could have been Darkness at Sethanon. It was when Pug and Tomas first met up with the Oracles, the small girl, in that cavern on a dried out and nearly to be destroyed planet. Actually, come to think of it, it was in Darkness

I thought Macros said that only the Aal had been able to resist the Valheru and even them not totally. I think they were a seconary affect, in that the Valheru crippled them but couldn't destroy them and they never recovered from the hammer blow until they were extinct, par exceptionne; the Oracles mind. I'll have a looksee in Darkness at Sethanon
