The Revived Tolkien Trivia

Lorien (2) The land ruled by Celeborn and Galadriel between the rivers Celebrant and Anduin. Probably the original name of this land was altered to the form of the Quenya name Lorien of the gardens of the Vala Irmo in Valinor.
The Silmarillion, Index.

Tolkien has many names for it... I guess you mean the following then:

'Do not risk getting entangled in the woods of Laurelindorenan! That is what the Elves used to call it, but now they make the name shorter: Lothlorien.'
The Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers III, Ch. IV Treebeard

Indeed that was it!

I consider that a win on the hard question front even though it obviously wasn't for you lol

Ah, beaten to it! I was going to say Lindórinand, from 'The History of Galadriel and Celeborn', in Unfinished Tales. Oh well..............

*skulks off*

er this?

I am against them altogether: these - burarum--orcs
LOTR , Treebeard.

also

There was a great inrush of those, burárum, those evileyed - blackhanded - bowlegged - flinthearted - clawfingered - foulbellied - bloodthirsty, morimaite - sincahonda, hoom, well, since you are hasty folk and their full name is as long as years of torment, those vermin of orcs

Lotr, Many Partings

from that I assume that burarum is orcs

But that's Quenyan for blackhanded flint hearted , isn't it?

Anyway my last question for now

who was asked this?

'Doest thou desire all the world for thy belly?'

'What wouldst thou have more?' said Morgoth. 'Dost thou desire all the world for thy belly? I did not vow to give thee that. I am its lord.'
The Silmarillion, Quenta Silmarillion, Ch. IX Of the Flight of the Noldor

His sword he hung over the mantelpiece. His coat of mail arranged on a stand in the hall (until he lent it to a museum). His gold and silver was largely spent on presents..and of course his magic Ring

Ah, no Unfinished Tales, then. I thought it was just HoME that was off-limits.

Eagles are not kindly birds. Some are cowardly and cruel. But the ancient race of the northern mountains were the greatest of all birds; they were proud and strong and noble-hearted. They did not love goblins, or fear them.
The Hobbit, Chapter 6 - Out of the Frying-Pan Into the Fire

On a time, when Túrin was grown to manhood and returned to Doriath from war with the Orcs, he came to dinner with the King. There Saeros insulted him, saying, "If the Men of Hithlum are so wild and fell, of what sort are the women of that land? Do they run like deer clad only in their own hair?" At this, Túrin abandoned his restraint and threw a drinking vessel at Saeros, wounding him.
