Black Static; Transmissions from beyond.

Perhaps I should have added that Black Static is the long awaited replacement for The Third Alternative in the TTA Press 'stable' and as Interzone will contain all the SF and Fantasy that would have been published in TTA so its follow up, Black Static, will be horror genre fiction and non fiction.

A real horror, a bug in InDesign CS3(?) maybe caused printing problems with the first issue. It will be reprinted next week.

Stephen Volk's Electric Darkness
Steve is the writer of Gothic, Ghostwatch, and the multi-award-winning ITV series Afterlife. He's also a fine short-story writer with at least one collection to his name. The T3A Black Static Forum is the place to talk to Steve about his Black Static column, Electric Darkness, and his experiences in the TV and film industries.

Not a silly question because we don't have a retail distribution agreement for Black Static. That's why there is no chance of getting it retail other than in specialist shops like Transreal, Edinburgh, and Murder One, London.

You can also get them via the website.

I will be IZ rep at Manchester Central Library on 11 th March for the Incwriters Outstanding Contribution to Literature (Magazines) award event, 6:00-7:30pm on the 11th March 2008. If you are in town I'll have some copies of BS and you can get one from me at the door.

Also I'll be at the BSFG meeting on 8th Feb. That's central Birmingham. I'll take along a few Black Statics and Interzones.
