Robert E. Howard

Lord of Samarcand : Other Adventure Tales of Old Orient is the only oriental collection of his so its easy. It has awesome cover.

Well, not quite....

Treasures of Tartary and Other Heroic Tales, by Robert E. Howard (HC)

Gates of Empire and Other Tales, by Robert E. Howard (HC)

These are the ones in print currently that I'm aware of (in addition to the one you mentioned). As for out of print... there were several of those:

The Sowers of the Thunder
The Road of Azrael
The Lost Valley of Iskander
Three-Bladed Doom
Son of the White Wolf
Swords of Shahrazar

not to mention several Oriental pieces in other collections, such as The Book of Robert E. Howard, The Second Book of Robert E. Howard, the Robert E. Howard Omnibus, etc., etc., etc. And, of course, the two recent books put out by Del Rey:

Del Rey Online | The Best of Robert E. Howard Volume 1 by Robert E. Howard

Del Rey Online | The Best of Robert E. Howard Volume 2 by Robert E. Howard

The same is true with his Westerns, of which there are at least 4 collections currently available (albeit there is a fair amount of duplication when you bring them all together), just as there have been several others now out of print, both humorous and straight....

As for his westerns, I'd agree with "The Vultures of Whapeton", as well as several in The Last Ride; there are also quite a few good ones in the collection of all the stories he wrote for Action Stories magazine:

The Complete Action Stories, by Robert E. Howard

HOWARD, Robert E.

I also, however, have a strong liking for his supernatural westerns, which sometimes blend genuine folklore of the region his love of the Southwest, resulting in some very powerful stories....

I knew it wasnt the only one but according amazon.com that collection collects all his oriental stories in one collection.

There are bound to be many other collections with the same stories over the years. Like you can find same Conan,Kane, westerns of his REH in many different collections.

Supernatural western wow that sounds really interesting !!

Thats the best news i have heard in a long time, wordsworth is cheap and good quality :)

It is a must in my REH collection.

A lot of us have a great deal to thank Wordsworth for. They've been coming out with many classic Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror compilations lately. It's even relatively affordable when it gets here to Malaysia, especially since the library option is certainly not applicable here.

Yeah Gollum we seem to be the biggest REH fans around here :)

Although i admit i havent seen you talk about reading REH recently. Let me know your next read of him maybe we can time it. Mini REH bookclub :D

It's just come out (wasn't available a couple of weeks ago), so I haven't yet found a listing of the TOC. I would imagine at least some of them are; probably most of the others are included in one of the Bison Books Howard volumes; but I'm by no means certain....

If I can find out any more information, I'll let you know....

I'd be very much obliged JD. The Wordsworth books are not in any of the stores here you see. I'd have to order it and if mine is the only order it will take time and will likely cost more. Therefore, if the stories are all doubled up I'll wait until I get to the UK or until Brian can find me a copy. If I don't have any or most of the stories I don't mind ordering the book.

A store near me stocks the complete Wordsworth range. I've been meaning to pick up the Howard volume, so I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know.

Is this the first or the second volume you're speaking of? The Haunter of the Ring is the second REH book they've put out (and yes, I eventually need to get the first as well....)
