Well he sort of modeled the Starks after the York family and the Lannisters after the Lancaster family. Edward IV became the legitimized king near the end of the War of the Roses. Of course Edward's death ushered in the Tudor dynasty.

But he isn't going event for event, obviously, but there may be a short lived Stark victory near the end of the saga.

I do have a feeling that Tansy's right and that wall is coming down. Jon may have something to do with it (blue roses on the wall). The happy version is that maybe he will end up with Dany, but maybe he will sacrifice himself to Mel for some horrible incantation.

Maybe Arya's army with be Nymeria and her wolves via warging. Or a band of assassins...

I wonder if Sansa will be the one to keep the Stark bloodline going, like Elizabeth of York and re-establish the Kings in the North. And Jaime the Lannister? Or Tyrion (but is he a Lannister?) after Sansa gets a lot more lessons in statescraft.

i think the wall will come down not jon though he is too proud that is his post, maybe the men cercei sent to join the black and kill him will do it after a failed attempt

Jon would take the wall down, if that was going to take out the Others, end the long winter and bring lasting safety to Westeros! Who knows.
