Name the ten people who battled at the tower of joy, at the end of Roberts rebellion?

Can't name all ten, but I'll make it somewhat easier for others: Ned Stark, Howland Reed, William Dustin, some Cassel, Oswell Whent, Gerold Hightower, Arthur Dayne.

Lord Eddard Stark, Martyn Cassell (Jory's father), Theo "Buckets" Wull, Ethan Glover (Brandon's squire), Howland Reed, Ser Mark Ryswell, and Lord William Dustin fought Lord Commander of the Kingsguard Gerold Hightower, Ser Oswell Whent, and Ser Arthur Dayne.

Thanks to zmorgas for Dustin... I had to look up Glover and Ryswell.

Okay... here goes...

Jon Arryn was the architect of Robert's Rebellion. Tywin Lannister was the last great lord to side with the rebels. These two men forged the foundation of peace for the Baratheon dynasty. From the main narrative, since the beginning of AGOT, I'd like you to list the instances in which Tywin and his descendants murdered, executed, successfully plotted to kill, legitimately tried to kill in the heat of the moment, or attempted to murder members of the families of the wards of Jon Arryn... who just happen to be their relatives in all instances!

For example, I do not consider Joffrey's rants about killing his uncles Stannis and Renly or his fiancee's brother Robb to be anything more than fancy.

Nor do I even consider Cersei's scheme to murder Jon Snow as a legitimate attempt.

Neither do I think that Cersei's backup plan, to have Ser Ilyn murder Sansa, as a successful attempt... because Sansa slipped away easily.

I am looking for seven specific instances involving Tywin and/or four of his descendants.

Think I'm getting the question, just in case here are the first two that came to mind.

Jamie trying to kill bran
Joffrey trying to kill bran.

Walder Frey killing cat
Roose Bolton killing Robb
Joffrey killing NedNed

Cersei conspiring to kill king Robert.
Walder Frey trying to kill blackfish.
Tyrion trial by combat killing card vardis egen knight of the vale.

That's eight.

I don't think I understand the question correctly?

Groot, you're mostly on track. I guess the term "wards of Jon Arryn" was misleading. I specifically meant Robert Baratheon and Eddard Stark who were fostered as teenagers in the Eyrie.

I'll count...

Jaime tossing Bran. (Jaime is Tywin's son and Bran is Eddard's son, a ward of Jon Arryn.)
Joffrey sending an assassin after Bran. (Joffrey is Tywin's grandson.)
Joffrey ordering Eddard's execution.
Cersei and Lancel conspiring to kill Robert. (Cersei is Tywin's daughter, Lancel is Twyin's nephew, and Robert was Jon Arryn's ward.)

That's four.

I'll also give you...

Walder Frey's assassination of Robb and Catelyn because it was done on the orders of Tywin and assisted to fruition by Jaime and Roose Bolton. (Robb is Eddard's son and Catelyn is Eddard's wife.)

I'm counting those as two! So you just need one more. And I can think of two examples where either Tywin or his descendants tried to kill a family member of one of Eddard's family in the heat of the moment.

You're doing really well... just one more!

Cersei wanted to have Arya dead because of the Nymeria incident, but I guess that is more wishful thinking.

hm... Jaime trying to kill Robb in the Whispering Forest.
Joffrey/Cersei ordering the death of all Robert's bastards. (Does that count since bastards aren't really legit family?)

Cersei trying to get robert killed in the melee at the hand tournament.

Joffrey did indeed attempt to kill Arya. I also thought about Jaime's charge at Robb during the Battle of the Whispering Wood.

Groot, thanks for doing so well at my trivia! Congrats! You turn...

Name the four mountain clans that were represented, and extra points for the names of the five clansman present, when meeting Tywin in the inn at the crossroads?

Uh... Timmett, son of Timmett of the Burned Men and Shagga, son of Dolf for the Stone Crows, I think. I dunno the others... One of them was something like the Moon Clan... but I'm sure Srylanna will know them.

Sry, I did not see your last post. Somehow, I completely overlooked it! I apologize. I like to award the win to the person who gets the very last answer, even if they did not get the rest... and I missed your answer... I'd like to blame it on the computer or an Act of God or somehow make it not my fault.... Doh.

Edit: One of the others was a woman who cut off people's ears... Chella, daughter of Cheyk... but I don't know her clan.

Chella, daughter of Cheyk was in charge of The Black Ears, and the last one was Ulf, I can't remember his father name, it probably started with U, though I recall he was leading the Moon Brothers.

The clans are the storm crows, the moon brothers, the black ears and the Burned men.

the clansmen were Shagga son of Dolf and Gunthor son of Gurn, for the storm crows, Ulf son of Umar for the Moon Brothers, Chella Daughter of Cheyk for the Black Ears and Timmet son of Timmet of the burned men.

Okay, an easy one.

The world of westeros and beyond has more than it's fair share of warrior women.

name 6 Unrelated women who are more comfortable with a sword in their hands than a sewing needle.
