Is George Martin Among Us?

I'd settle for Roman engineers and an idle army to maintain my fence. I'm not worried about undead at this time--just hungry rabbits. :)

I don't have a fence around my place, I have no worries about the undead but then as I say, I am not a keen GRRM fan - so it can't be me! :)

Hi Rosemary!

Not a George Martin fan? Tsk tsk. Maybe you will be enlightened one day.:)

Fortunately, I have no Wilding neighbours. Perhaps I should do an undead check with some of them, afterall. You can never be too careful these days.

I think we're all GRRM. He's such a master of multiple POVS that he has managed to write an entire forum of discussion by himself.

I'm glad I've avoided suspicion throughout this thread! :D I guess I'd better go finish off the Meereenese Knot and kill Jon Snow.

But GRRM doesn't use a ghost writer.... ;)

Nor do I imagine that GRRM, even at his most devious, would ever think to use the word ethereal as an adjective to apparition :D

But if Weirwood has the right of it, we must be careful...a catharsis like that and we might all have some kind of schism. Then we'll never finish the Dance.

I don't know who to quote, Gollum or the Borg. I'll go for the Borg..."We are the GRRM. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile."

I think we've been getting the first part of that Borg declaration wrong.

The Borg are very logical and they will have planned how to integrate each new species before they attempt it for real.

So what they are saying is: "You will be as simulated."

In a way, it isn't aggressive; it's more a kind of guarantee of good engineering and good workborgship, perhaps with an implied 90-day warranty attached.

I hereby nominate Ursa as humanity's interstellar communications ambassador, with the uncanny insight of seeing the cuddly bear in all things. Who knew the Borg were such sweethearts and it was all just one of those 'interspecies' misunderstandings. It's really very tragic.

Hey everybody!!! Been a long time since I dropped by and contributed-nothing personal, guess I just didn't have anything to say (but I've been trolling here and there). Just wanted to confirm that I am not Mr. Martin, so you can drop me from the list of suspects.

Hate Star Trek?! Blasphemy!! Used to be my favourite show, second only to Batman. (Pow, biff, bop). I had a somewhat Arya personality.

Oh dear. The only word that I can think of the rhymes with Borg, is morgue. Perhaps, re-org. This task could be part of the George Martin test.

There's also dot-org (like a website) and bjorn borg, at a stretch.:D

Excuse me, I have Faceless Man business to attend to...
