I don't smoke ciggys, but I can tell you some scary stories about people hiding when smoking inside the plant next to flammable chemicals.

*EDIT* Nooooooo! I just noticed the little Location thing in the profile has been fixed! It no longer shows the "Extra Info" stuff... why?!? That was awesome. We were having fun with that.

Some new members were abusing that for self-promotion (as they might have with a signature, which we don't allow) or doing it in all innocence. In either case, moderators had to take the time to write to them and ask them to take the information down.

Usually, the ones who had done it by mistake were glad to cooperate.

Some of the others ... not so much.

And it inhibited some of us (like me) from entering the information on our profiles because we knew it would appear where it wasn't supposed to.
