Who's your favourite non-POV character?

That's EASY, although it's partly easy because there aren't so many non-POV characters left!

The Hound, every time.

I love the way GRRM shows him as a character who does bad things (sometimes) not because he "is bad", but rather because he's damaged.

Tormund is lots of fun ...

Jaqan H'Ghar is probably my favorite. I love his charcter, i love the msytery surrounding him and the Faceless Men and i love that he is sort of a "super powered" villain/hero (maybe?

For similar reasons i like Varys. My views on him are known. He's just a great character.

I also like Littlefinger, and I'm really curious to see where his storyline goes

I was just about to say how hard this one was, when i realized it's not hard at all!

It's Bronn! No surprises from Bronn, you get exactly what you pay for from him!

Also pretty fond of The Hound and Tormound (he would be the most fun to party with!)

And i forgot to say WELCOME kharon :)

Always nice to see new people show up. Is it safe to say you've read all 5 books?

Yes, because I have a comment to make if you have! If you haven't, BEWARE FOR SPOILERS KHARON!

My favourite non-POV is probably Brynden Tully the Blackfish. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a POV though.

The Halfhand.

I would have loved to read a chapter beyond The Wall from his perspective.

The Old Bear also.

Or The Blackfish.

Maester Aemon. He's probably one of the wisest characters in the books. And with his age, think of all the things he's seen.

I'm not sure we can call Varys a secondary character any longer?

I agree, Littlefinger: one of those characters who may or may not be entirely self-serving, and finding out will be interesting.

I still say The Hound, though.

The Blackfish is likeable, but much more obvious than Littlefinger or The Hound -- he's noble, he'll do the honourable thing even if it's the hardest thing (much as Eddard, or Jon), and it's as simple as that.

Coragem.

I hope Littlefinger does have an ultimate aim beyond his own self-serving desires. He's one of those characters I can't help but like.

I agree that Varys is very much a main charcter.

And my God, no one has mentioned everyone's favorite, Dolorous Edd??? :D

A toast to Yoren!

I loved the scene where the gold cloaks came to take Gendry. What was it that he said to them when they mentioned that their swords were their right to take him?

Stannis. He's one of the most detailed non-POVs. I feel like I can see what's going on in his mind. And of course he is my King.

I'd say stannis as well, his ever defiant persona is great.
Tho Bronn and his very black humour and the late red viper prince oberyn are right up there too
