And then a shorter short-list;

Ratsy

I'm really glad I hadn't read any of the other entries before writng my own - there are so many staggeringly good entries. Choosing is daunting me already.
 
The 300 word voting was way more exciting than the Mayoral election. I do have my voting card at the ready, I'm just voting mad this week!
 
You people are really quick.

So far I've only read one of the entries all the way to the end, but as it was mine (read during the editing process), it doesn't really help me in choosing who to vote for.

I've managed to make my way through about half of the entries so far and am building a far too long short list.

My Yorkshire (and Scottish and Dutch) blood wouldn't allow it.
