Wow, I really do need to catch up! I've been feeling a little under the weather for the past few days so I'm running quite behind with the stories. I won't be voting just yet, I need to review all of the entries thoroughly before making up my mind, and with a head that feels like it's stuffed with cotton wool probably isn't the best time to start. So I'm going to give it a day or two before making any (rash) decisions.

I'd like to thank Springs for the short listing, however, and also Aun for the vote - I'm amazed! I thought the story bombed to be quite honest. Thanks, peeps, I really appreciate your kindness.

I hope I can find time to read everything again and vote tonight. It's great that there's more time to vote on this one, but if I let it go, I'll miss the deadline and be sitting here scratching my head and wondering where the time went.

Not an easy vote, but when is it? A special mention for Starbeast. Like Perp, I was laughing all the way through. Your entries are always good.
