AMB: Hindsight is always 20/20, but with lessons learned, let's hope that this society can prevent history from repeating itself. This had both hope and sorrow within just a couple sentences, and is done very well.


LFT: Macabre, very macabre. Let's just hope this is an act of love and not of vengeance, wot? I suppose the intention was to let that be decided by the reader....


Arkose: Pretty much followed its title here. And it just goes to prove my mistrust of AI. And perhaps of other life out there.


Starbeast: I have to say here and now-Smith is a freaking wuss. But I suppose not everyone can deal with being left alone on a desolate planet. What I'm wondering, though, is what Smith's profession was previously...

It seems strange sitting here and looking at entries and knowing I'm not going to be writing comments on them... still Karn seems to have done a magnificent job so far.

As for the challenge itself - it's great, love the theme and the genre, but the first thing that sprang into my head is so cheeky I do not know whether have the guts to go with it or not.

Also I seem to have T S Eliots 'The Hollow Men' running through my mind at the moment.
