K, so I like Grimbear's, HareBrain's and TJ's the best. Not sure where my vote's going yet.

I always enjoy just about everything I read here but:

Shortlist: Brev, Phyrebat, James Coote, Ursa Major, Parson, The Judge, Clhwich, Mosaix, Reiver33, Grimbear, Steivietee, Springs, Teresa, Vertigo, Glen, Alchemist.

Vote goes to : Brev. Somehow, I can see that happening...

Thanks to Springs, Kylara, Hex, R J Dando, and Lilmizflashythang for the mentions.

Oh and when I looked at the poll and saw I'd got two votes I went into the garden and did a backflip. Well..... I thought about it. Thank you to David Evil Overlord and Phoenix for the votes.

Let's see if I can get this whole list in here before kproxy kicks me out!

Hex -- After They Burned the Village
paranoid marvin -- Getting the Drop
Teresa -- Rough Justice
crystal haven -- The Beast of Feirset Crag
*rj dando -- Personal Development*
Vertigo -- Changed Perspectives
Aun Doorback -- A cold wind to Valhalla
Abernovo -- Trickster Trap
alchemist -- Gruff Justice
Sapheron -- (untitled)
kiffinyjean -- The Greatest Battle
Scott R Forshaw -- A Dish Best Served Cold
Harebrain -- Urban
Phyrebrat -- Urban Myth
Boneman -- Captive Audience
Moonbat -- A Hero's Welcome to the Jungle
TJ -- First Among Equals
mosaix -- You Can't Take It With You

Special thanks to Abernovo for the vote, and to everyone who mentioned me -- on this proxy server, I get a stupid popup every time I change pages, so I can't go back right now and get all the names right. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the listing, Starbeast and TDZ.

TDZ, you're more than welcome. I enjoyed the story.

Stil learning, thanks for the mention. :) gosh, it's all very close... go, Gruff! (I have big plans to buy the merchandise rights from Alc - who is, I'm sure, way to busy to deal with such minutiae - and make a killing at many local market stalls.)

Shortlist:
RcGrant - Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
Stevietee – The Justice Tree
Springs – Baptised In Blood
Alchemist – Gruff Justice

Even shorter list:
Hex – After they burned the village
Teresa – Rough Justice
The Judge – First among equals

My vote:
HareBrain – Urban

And thank you to DEO, Springs, Hex, Bowler1, Alchemist, Starbeast, and TheDustyZebra for the listing/mentions. I hope I haven’t missed anyone.

Well, I looked up when logging in today and found that i haven't logged on since 29th September 2011. Where has time gone!

I have had a busy year so far, I'll post elsewhere about that :)

Right, what we're here for, the votes...... Can I have special dispensation and vote for everybody? No? OK then:

My List:

Luiglin
Nixie
Grimbear
Marvin
Teresa
Vertigo
Aun Doorback
Perpetual Man
Pheonix
Mosaix

Well that's my list, there were other very good stoires but for me that is what made me read twice... okay more than twice :)

There are people, forgive me for not back reading over the months I've missed, I haven't seen before, which is nice. Then there are the standards by which I always used to try and attain, namely Teresa, Perp and Mosaix.

What I did find that most of the stories seemed to deal with Justice as death and suffering. Not the way I personally would have gone, I do sometimes think that Justice and Punishment are metered on the same level. But I do not think that they should ever be considered one and the same. I'll try not to go too far into that. However, as you can see I didn't shun those stories and a lot made it to my list.

My winner this month came down to a fuor way tie between Teresa, Perp, Pheonix and Mosaix. Alas, I can only pick one so this month I chose.....

Teresa. Thank You, it's always a pleasure to read your work.

HareBrain thanks Hex, High Eight and Crystal Haven for their votes.

Highlander, no pressure ...;)

Thanks for all the shortlist mentions too.

(Note: votes from non-H people also gratefully accepted)

Thanks to crystal haven, TDZ, phoenixthewriter, StilLearning and Perp for the mentions, and big thanks to Starbeast for the vote. Looking at the votes, it appears the age of rhyme has arrrived. Poems/raps for all next month!

Thanks to the nice comments for my admittedly strange entry from RcGrant and Perpetual Man. And also a special thanks goes out to Kylara for the honourable mention and to High Eight and Moonbat for the short-listings.

I'm always amazed when I get any recognition from among the high quality of stories that I see every month since I started getting involved with this challenge back in January.

Now that I can go back through the pages without popups (thanks, work), thanks to Hex, johnnyjet, stormcrow and Moonbat for the mentions! Much appreciated!

HB, I noticed that, too. Sorry, no H's here. I'm sure that's what tipped it, because it was pretty close. :D

Allanon, thanks for the shortlisting - and the near tie, losing out to Teresa is an honour, nearly as good as a vote!
