Christmas? Vampires? Good choice!

Not gonna stake anything on it yet....!

Lots of ideas in this house, what the kids had happening to poor Santa doesn't bear thinking about. But I went for the one that got the biggest giggle from the kids, worryingly. (It might save me a couple of quid in Santa's grotto payments this year.) :D

Nice one, ladies.

Ha! I love this month's! There'd be a worthy winner in any of just the first few though so I'm already looking forward to voting.

Well, that's me in the mix, although I must admit, I'm not at all sure of what to make of my own entry. I normally wouldn't go with something like I have, but I figured I'd mix it up a little, what, with it being Christmas and all. Hopefully everyone will enjoy it, and I won't receive too much hate mail for ruining everyone's yuletide favourite.:D

I am posted. I wrote two but this was more fun than my alternative. Cant help but post early

Spring, Scott, and Ratsy, I love them!
Hex and Dusty, fantastic theme, the quick quality entries show I'm not alone in my enthusiasm. Though I'm lagging in coming up with an idea of my own.

You know, Scott, I could parrot this word for word almost, and be completely honest in how I feel about my own.

Like I said, posted as quickly as I did to make up for last month. Not enough time to back out, and the entire month to regret putting it in. :D

And why do I get the feeling that I got zinged by a zebra tonight? :(

I seem to have an idea, but it seems so obvious that by the time I get around to someone else will have beaten me to the punch. Or bite.

Ah well, no point in letting it drive me batty eh?

(argh! the puns! what have we done?)

Aber -- I love that story.

Thanks Hex. :) You beat me to it.
You are one scary lady, you know that, right? Where your mind goes to. Love the idea of a vampire coming down a chimney.

The entries are all great.
Karn: the idea of Santa Vampire makes me chuckle. A great twist.

TDZ: doomed love, crime doesn't pay. Not fair! Your writings too good!

Springs: well, that's a different kind of grotto! :D

Scott: the formatting's brilliant, but so's the story.

reiver: a wonderful Red Square Setting - I can almost imagine the Night Watch observing.

ratsy: I'm speechless. You took the old poem and made it your own
