...yes, Thanks Starbeast! :)

Your comment much appreciated and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Karn – Deliciously twisted, with a the gift of a bitter smile, that looks to s future where the children’s delight of a jolly fellow bringing gifts is nothing more than a memory of the past, instead he brings another gift, and for all those who hide in fear of what he brings, there are always those that welcome the bloody present.

TDZ – It’s amazing what some people will do for true love. They say that love makes us blind, but not just to our other but to the consequences in the world around us. That someone is prepared to sacrifice themselves, the become what they hate in order to keep their love safe, might blind them to the fact that the other might be open to danger from other fronts, the stealing of a present to protect the other, and death for crimes rather than at the fangs of a monster. Ironic.

Springs – And then Ursa jumps in with a pun.... what do you mean it’s springs? A groan worthy masterpiece that delights in the word play, an invitation for something that is almost impossible to resist. Who would want to turn down such a thing? There is so much going on, it seems stupid to not join in. I mean what’s the worst that could happen?

Scott – Straight off the bat, I loved the formatting for this one, despite the content its guaranteed to keep the vampires away in it’s own right. The rewritten carol works perfectly and the care and detail in both the words and lining it up for the cross is spectacular. The words matched the tune in my head immediately. A cracker.

reiver33 – I have heard it mentioned that this one contained smut. So lights down, door locked and a cup of cocoa by my side. Great, great entry, telling all you needed without an excess of description, the meeting of two equals, possible lovers and gifts to be exchanged, just made the ending all the more delectable. If it was smut, it worked to perfection and of the highest quality. Naked? Not even a Christmas stocking?

Thanks for the comments Abernova and Starbeast!

Bowler...I just hope they don't turn Beiber into a vampire, he will make music for centuries...is it a coincidence his girlfriend is named..Gomez

I rudely forgot to say thank you for the comments -- I really enjoyed them. How dare you impugn the way my mind works, Abernovo -- I had to rush to get that story posted so no one else posted it first!

@Mouse -- oh no! I didn't see that. Before my time but I did read back in the challenges -- must've missed that one. Sorry, sf.

Just remembered that Stormfeather did Christmas vampires two years ago. Are you three in cahoots? *suspicious face smiley*

Some good'ns so far!

Did we?

Wonder if I could get away with going back and re-entering my entry...

Oh no, it wasn't the theme. Just SF's entry.

Hex, I forget you haven't been here forever!

Karn, completely off topic but I love your new avatar! Very festive.

Haha Karn! You found the artist I was going to use for my xmas cards this year! But thye are more expensive than ever per card this year :( good job I didn't, wouldn't want to be stealing your avatar now would I!

Hmmm, Christmas Vampires...how on earth will I get dragons into that!?

On one hand you might bearly escape with your life, but on the other you might knock the stuffing out of him.

(No good at all at puns, me.)

Seems everyone is switching to Christmas Avatars, so bid farewell to this years alien...

Loving all the toothsome entries...
I've taken my bite at the theme (and had to take a nibble at all the vampy puns floating around!). Very fun theme!

So... Christmas avatars? I'm off to see what I can come up with.

Oh noooooo...
If he never ages then he'll be cute forever, urghh, sorry guys. :D

The conversation has shot off with pages and pages of nattering, clearly a good choice. I loved it, I had my story done in under an hour.

"Far away. Out of RAY GUN range of both of us, preferably."
Heehee - I'll keep them charged just in case. ;)

Tactical -- I love that. The first line especially is genius (and the last).

Kind words already. :) Thanks, Aber, Star.

You're welcome Karn.

Nope, this is the first I've heard of it. I was also born in the late '80s, so that might have something to do with it . . .

I was just curious. Don't listen to the others about young members. I say, if anyone can post, they're old enough. It's a young spirit that keeps a person going, no matter what the age is.

waving a ty to Aber and Starbeast for their reviews.

You're welcome Springs.

Thanks for the review SB ... all i can say is if Abraham Lincoln can be a vampire killer then Santa sure as hell can.

I'm with ya on that Luiglin.

Thanks for the kind words, Starbeast.

You're welcome Abernovo. I call them as I see them, but Perpetual Man is the master of comments.
