*cough*

How hard do you want it, Gary?

i.e. are aliens and fantastical elements out of the question?

This is not Hard SF but Ian Sales has said he might submit so basically it's up to you.

I like either but personally, couldn't write hard SF (some say I can't write soft SF LOL)

No Alc that sounds great. An example is my story which is Challenger 1987. The real mission was to test a device found at the Roswell crash site. They spent 40 years trying to back-engineer the machine. The device malfunctioned and blew up the shuttle but threw the astronauts through a time warp onto a another planet in another Universe.

As it exploded the qualifying line was repeated.

Like the cover... lovelly.... um... hard sf isn't as difficult to write as you think it is... there will be a lot of people in the future who don't 'do' tech... so you could do stories from their viewpoint. ;)

Like I say Senendipity, I don't mind submissions in both :)

Good luck with it, Gary!

(Um... my nit-picking talons are itching -- I know it won't appear on the cover when it's printed, but it's copyright, not copywrite.)

That's why I am a tea-boy. Do you know any good editors? LOL

Stay off the sherry on a Sunday, your honour. I can't see any spelling mistake in the pic - LOL :)

Looks life another fun exercise. (Not sure why you choose subject matters where I have nothing in my backlog to play with). Do you have access to my PC?

The cover is just phenomenal, spot on perfect.

My wife says I was sent here by the Devil to test people. So this is what I am doing, after all she who must be obeyed can't ever be wrong - can she? :)

A man of your talents should be able to knock one out, I would have thought.

How about alternative history of Apollo 13 and the real reason the Control Module developed a problem - it was attacked by Aliens or the Russians or Sleepers working at NASA wanting to prevent progress cos they dont want their home planet found.

Good luck, Perp and Stephen if you are taking part.

Just had an idea, but it is so big and convoluted don't know if I can pull it off (I've said something like this before haven't I?)

Making my head go funny (or funnier) just thinking about it.

I have written a story and it is only 1500 words. I have sent to a couple peeps to see what they think. I doubt it is strong enough for this but I like to write so every time I do a short story it is practice...now if only I could finish the Ghost one I was working on...I have some free time in the next week or two so I have to finish it!
