Reinventing Space Conference 18th - 20th November at the Royal Society...it's being organised by the British Interplanetary Society - yes the same august body that Arthur C Clarke belonged to...

Might just be cheeky enough to send my subbed short as a paper... that would really be VERY cheeky wouldn't it?

Quick question and apologies for derailing the thread - on the Aliens tab on TBP it says to single-space submissions but my two stories went to you double-spaced as I think that's what was on the guidelines before? Is that a problem? Do you want a re-formatted version?
