Discussion Thread -- SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE -- December 2013

Congratulations, Tywin, and commiserations to Victoria and mosaix. In other words, what Ursa said. :D

Congratulations TYWIN --- Interesting screen name. Is there a back story you can share about it?

Ha, not much back story there. I came to these forums for the game of thrones discussions and only later drifted here to the writing challenges. There are a lot of GRRM-themed avatars over in that section of the forums.

Alright, Ty, what's next month going to bring?

And speaking of which...won't next month be the next 300 as well?

It's not just what the next month is going to bring, it's what next year is going to bring ;)

Congratulations Tywin a hard fought win that shows the quality of all three finalists. Now, bring it on....

Congratulations Tywin!

(I always thought your avatar was Kryten from Red Dwarf!)

Congratulations, Tywin! And, commiserations to Victoria and mosaix. All three, winners.

We had three winners this month, and maybe more. Anyhoo, congrats Tywin. Victoria and Mosaix, there's always next month. What a contest of champions.

So there are more dark corners of Chrons! Actually, I shouldn't be surprised by that. Well done Tywin, a worthy winner and after a hard fought three way tie breaker.

Well done to Tywin for the win, and to Victoria and mosaix for making things interesting. And well done to all for getting an entry in on what is always a busy month for everyone.

Now that the titanic voting battle is complete...

Brev - A show of faith is a moment of trust between two peoples.

An unintended connotation :), but I'd hazard a guess that most (if not all?) missed the theme prompt in mine.

Well done to all three of you and congrats on the eventual win Tywin!

Yay, a 300 word and 75 coming up and I have 5 days off work after today...

Congratulations, Tywin. :)

Commiserations, Victoria.

I think it would have been a travesty if my story had won. Judging by the interpretations put on it by my family I think it's fair to say that most people will have misunderstood the story as I intended it.

I think my story is self-explanatory and it mostly provided an opportunity for a few puns, the principal one (alluded to, but not written down) being the good old "I scream cone".

Congratulations, Tywin!

And I have been remiss in not thanking those who mentioned or listed my story this month - and of course a big thank you to Phyrebat for the vote!!
