You desire to be a god? When will I ever get it right first time?
You desire to be a god?
For some reason I can hear "Ride of the Valkyries" just right now. I can just see you in the distance with setting sun glinting off your "push up" brass bustier as you wave your Goddess Sword. With the way the horse is jogging, I hope the brass outfit has internal padding.Goddess, thank you. they have more fun.
About 3/4 through rewrite and trying to work out some timing issues between my various POV characters. Maybe next time I should write something that spans months or years rather than a week...
As I progress through The Master's Talent chapter by chapter doing the simplest fix up of spelling and missing bits I'm getting depressed. My characters seem little better than generic shape paper dolls with different names written on them.

The story has to cover about 3 years. About 14 months of space flight time though. (Flight to jump, jump x 2, flight from jump, visit planet, flight to jump, jump x2, flight from jump).
working on a nice simple (sub)urban fantasy featuring a 60' narrowboat and decades of child abduction. what could go wrong? :/
thanks, Jo, but I've been a 'boater since the 80s and that part isn't going to be a problem. plenty of research walks coming up along the Shroppie
faerie lore, on the other hand...
I'm also researching fairies as it happens, but it's of the Oirish variety...
