What are you working on right now?

A Violent sci-fi short about a Tank Crew called Galahad. A dark fantasy/Horror about a dying hunter tentatively titled Tiger's Spire & My other WiP Beneath The Bones of Tehra....

Good job I bought biscuits, and tea...

What am I working on right now?
I'm currently inking one comic, breaking down scripts on two more (they all have to be ready for an April release).

I've got a novel (a sequel to my father's novel) that I'm outlining and plotting called Ryn's Turn.

I'm going to be choosing which of my father's manuscripts I'll be working on for the year consisting of reviewing the plots, the characters and the world, then looking at the outline of the story and finally editing and handing it off to beta readers.

I'm finishing off a critique for a novel as part of a group that I am with, although, I'm probably going to have to deactivate myself from the site until I've got my schedule down pat.

Hi,

Shavarra is finally nearly done. It's only six or seven years old. Has been rewritten more times than I can count. And this lat month I've trashed the entire ending - 30k words - and started again. But as of yesterday I knew I was in the home stretch finally. Only about three chapters left to write, and then it's off to the editor for a goodly round of laughter followed by the author being roundly abused.

Also got the cover done as I knew I was so close and got the final back last night. I think it's eye catching and tells a little of the MC. Actually I think it's awesome.

The story I am currently mulling over at the moment is at its core crime caper ( this will probably change) but the world is cold and hard in a literal sense as it is in perpetual winter and ice, snow and biting winds make life tricky for all comers. There are some other world building ideas in the pipeline as well.

Hi,

Feel free to ask me about bruised and broken ribs - I've had enough of them over the years! But don't ask me about house cleaning. I'm still waiting for the day we have personal robots to do all that for us!

Cheers, Greg.

Trying to finish Hellhounds, about Transylvanian werewolves eating homeless people in Lancashire. It was originally a low-budget horror movie script, but since it no longer has to be something that can be filmed on a low budget, I've changed much of the setting, and that means rewriting most of the story.

I originally wrote the script over ten years ago and hadn't read it since, so I was quite surprised on re-reading it last year to discover the unexpected plot twist near the end. Which was cool. Hopefully no-one else who reads it will see it coming, either.

I've been writing a series of sci-fi novellas. After writing the second novella of the series, I learned from my beta readers that I need to deepen my scenes and characters and to consider using deep PoV. This past month, I've been reading up on these these things and have been doing some practice writing in order to sharpen my skills. Last week I started applying what I've learned to my first novella.

I am working on Lake Manor formatting and arranging. It feels awesome to see all the stories together. I have a final read-through to do, and since the stories are in a shared setting, it is an extra challenge, but I think that makes it extra unique. The authors have been so good to work with that I feel super grateful on my first project.

Added 2000 words to the new WiP... It's darker and certainly more violent than my sci-fi which I didn't expect or intend... but it's shaping up okay... Also doing more research On Norse mythology & Arabian Mythology which has been really interesting
