DISCUSSION -- March 2014 75 Word Writing Challenge

Thanks for making me a finalist, Starbeast.

You're very welcome Ursa Major. My "Short List" included just about everyone. I took me three days to select one out of so many great stories. And like Chrispenycate (and others), it was painful to shave off authors.

It was very tough.

I had a hard time choosing between the stories on my shorter list, but it was the poignancy of Karn's last line that decided me.

It is difficult to select one out of many. What I do is, read each one, then write down the post number (rather than the name) that I really like, and when finished, I go through the ones I wrote down and see which one I keep coming back to. After repeating this, the list gets smaller, and I can make a choice out of the remaining few.

This may take time, like it did for me (3 days). Good luck pal.

My initial list had 25 on it, and that was being hard on the writers!! By being really hard-hearted I've halved that... Shortlist, Finalists (any of whom could have won my vote, they were all brilliant!)and *winner*.
