DISCUSSION -- April 2014 75+5 Word Writing Challenge

Thank you to Starbeast, Victoria and BenSt for the reviews!

I love Steampunk and the entries already submitted have been great, I'll start writing my own reviews soon.

A great big thank you to all our generous, insightful reviewers. (Welcome BenSt!)

Lots of fine stories this month, as usual.

Working on an idea for the 300 worder.

Thanks Victoria, I found this month hard to get across an idea. Definitely would of liked more words. Thank you for the review.

TheDustyZebra,
I'm still having computer problems, don't know if you got my reply to PM, didn't understand message.

Thanks for the review and the kind words Mr.Starbeast. It's worth posting just to read your comments. Tolkein is my favourite fantasy author too,

Thanks as always for your comments, Victoria and Starbeast. (And thanks to whoever decided on the extra five words -- I'd have been stuck without them!)

You're very welcome HareBrain. Oh yeah, I love them 5 extra words!

Thank you so much Mods!

You're welcome Khayos.

Steampunk is a great concept. I used to love seeing that as a kid, when watching the classic tv show, Wild Wild West.

Many thanks for the feedback Starbeast, Victoria and Ben - Your efforts every month are super!

You"re immensely welcome Aun Doorback. Thank you for the wonderful comment towards us reviewers.

You're welcome TacticalLoco. And a big "thank you" back to you for the nice comment toward us reviewers.

Looking forward to your 300 story. I'm still working on mine. Plus, I'm very tempted to peek at the other 300 tales. Ah temptation, I'm so glad I have will power.

Thanks for the review and the kind words Mr.Starbeast. It's worth posting just to read your comments. Tolkein is my favourite fantasy author too,

You're very welcome Mr Marvin. And thanks a megaton for the wonderful comment. You made my day off, extra special.

I'm just being myself and pointing out the fine effort everyone has done here.

Encounters/Fantasy Steampunk
(part five)

KshRox - Oh my goodness, and my goodness to all. I literally did a double-take (you know, when you look, then look again) as I read your steamy spunked story. You definately made me smile and shake my head in tickled pleasure. Grand emissions from you.

Azzagorn - Fantastic blazing war epic about a powerful weapon that changed the course of battle between two great armies. This is something I would really like to see on the big screen, an incredile steampunk war. Nicely machined story sir, no loose bolts here.

Bob Senior - Mirror, mirror marvelous. Tremendous tale of two boys who grew up and met each other. And to their amazement, both have very similar lives to share. I love this story, it's like a cool prologue to a much bigger story. You left me wanting more. Excellent.

A. Fare Well - First of all, nice to meet you. And second, you've crafted an astonishing tale that is well written and a far-out drama. I was blown away by it's high octane power, your entry just really took me by complete surprise. Intense and fierce drama. Wow.

Thank you Victoria and Starbeast.
Starbeast, you made my day, most of my story had to be ended up in the wastebasket.
I could not get it to work no matter how hard I tried (and I tried), so I finally cut out half of my story and entered it. If you want more I shall have to recover the trash.
Thank you again, much appreciated.
Bob

Afraid I probably wont be joining in with the challenges this month, the time I get to write needs to be on planned submissions, it's been a really hectic month already and we are only half way through :S

I've been away for a few days, a wee holiday, but... I left my battery packs on charge, so I have returned fully recharged. 37 say I, unclipping another battery and slamming it into a RAY GUN that whines and hums into life (a wonderful sound). I think 50 this month would be good, as another battery clicks into place, to a happy hum. Yes... 50 would be nice.

Click, click... click....

Does any one else find it off putting when a large smiley face threatens you with a Ray gun... Bowler, I like the cut of your jib ;)
