Mine's up! A surprisingly tough challenge. I found my mind going in too many different directions. Of course, I had to follow Victoria's wonderful gem of a story!
johnnyjet -- Through the eyes of a skillfully crafted character who seems both very human and much more than human, the reader is given a glimpse of the sublime.
chrispenycate -- The gravitas and elevated language of the narrator give this story a sense of history behind its events, adding to its effect on the reader.
