DISCUSSION -- January 2015 75 Word Writing Challenge

Might not be big and powerful, but in my eyes any review or feedback is great. Read every story in the competitions and have my own thoughts and opinions. Here goes.

Unconditional Love - (@BigJ ), At first you are deceived of what it might be about, but when you finish the story it warms your heart and makes you feel exactly the same, for anyone and everyone has had or has a dog or cat in their lives who will never break their hearts.

The Call of the North - (@springs )Well done with this story, my mind was hoping she accepts, because longing for something and then refusing it the day you have the chance to take it is rough. But her pregnancy was a twist and made me smile.

Nigel and Betty - (@Ashleyne B. Watts) I smiled while reading this, yet another case of animal and human love. People tend to break each others hearts, unlike animals, therefore choosing the route Nigel did is not strange at all.

Love Stinks - (@willwalace) When one is aware that you are with the person made for you, any sacrifice is a good one, for being together as long as possible is all that matters. Good and different story.

The White House - (@farntfar ) That subconscious decision any man or woman makes regarding their relationship towards someone they have feelings with is hard. Doing it when the only thing holding it back is your line of work, then it is tough. The character demonstrates that thinking about it is important and not turning it into something bad completely, but harvest to make sure you don't lose the person forever.

Sunday 3am - (@Cascade ) The infamous one night stand, most people like them, but then again most people hate them too. Shows you that maybe he had to man up and stay the whole night instead of running away from feelings and commitment.

The Three Suitors - (@Victoria Silverwolf ) Showed me, what you have and what you can do is not always the make or brake factor when it comes to someones love. BE yourself and who you really are and maybe it will all turn out to be... "Happy ever after"

Harry Lied - (@telford ) Very good and strong story, softens one's heart and makes you stop and think. Not everyone is happy or in love or in this case loves all the same things. Good story @telford.

@The Bravest Newbie - Geeez, the moment when you realize, or when I did, strong powerful story. Two people in love, same as any other two people, yet society and people drove them to these manners. Shows me no matter what, don't judge because you are unfamiliar with the concept.

True Love - (@ratsy ) Classic, loved this, when people do so many things for others to bring them back yet they never change. She was the same person, just a different body.

Come With Me - (@alchemist ) Questions running wild, did she say yes? Was he just a summer Romance? Will she really be happy like this again? Great story...

Saturday Afternoon at Bonnie's - (@Juliana ) One can interpret this story like you want too. Meaning it was a success, I had my ideas of what it is they were going to do and you will have yours. No more... Good story.

One or the Other - (@Karn Maeshalanadae ) Food, everyone loves food. Some I might say more than needed too, but everyone makes this kind of decision once a week. Thanks for a good laugh Karn.

The Only Gift - (@Cat's Cradle) Blood is thicker than water. No matter what someone as close to you as that does, things will always hurt when it turns bad. I liked how the one sister was stuck on hating him and the other one realized, maybe we must stop and look at it on his side.

Last Laugh - (@Bob Senior ) Wondered about this so many times in my life, Bob just made me wonder even more. Good story and great concept. Would have loved to have known, will he hang or not?

Meine Liebe - (@Culhwch ) Made me read it twice, when I found the gem I smiled. One of my favorites, good story, we all hope when we are stuck in a situation as fatal as this one that the man holding the gun will do the same.

The Universal Language - (@WinterLight ) Strange World, Will have to think about this one, think it might come to me at a later stage, yet the idea is brilliant.

Venus Verticordia - (@Kerrybuchanan ) Shows you that if you are chosen for each other, it is meant to be. Wont always make sense at first but wait and it will all be good.

 
Revelation - (@crystal haven ) Materials in life can be replaced, the opportunity to show someone you love them comes once in your life. I chose that that moment was the one for him and that he succeeded.

Two minutes to true love - (@Luiglin) Some people find this method of finding it successful, others don't, the story makes me feel thankful for what I am and have, so in my mind it is a success.

Self(ish) Preservation - (@Moonbat) Love can make or break one's life. He had love but the feeling drove them both mad. He had to make a choice and in my mind still needs to make it. Good place to leave it for I would want happiness fr them both, therefore not knowing is better.

Lucky Six - (@Phyrebrat ) Love is above all, once you had the feeling nothing can ever replace it. One can fall i love with someone else, but if you loved someone before, you will always love them, no matter what. He lost her, but he will always love her in his heart.

@Prescott Fry - A story that made me think that no matter where you are in your life, someone else might be in a place worse off. Reach out to friends and family, not with words or with favors but a simple hug, for it sometimes helps and cures more than medicine.

Courtship - (@johnnyjet ) Some people find their work the most important thing, their love in a way, for money buys happiness. The decision they had was important, and to one man alone it felt as iff his life was going somewhere, for although he is only the janitor a choice he made came through as the one they accepted.


All of these might not be great and powerful reviews, but sometimes the way my stories make people feel are just as important as the other aspects. These are my feelings I had when reading your words.
 
Thx for the review JLB. As ever I'm suprised in what others see. For me it was a wild attempt to insert a Carry On style of bad pun ;)
