Discussion Thread - 100 Word Anonymous Writing Challenge Feb 2015

Double post, sorry! Terrific stories so far..and we're up to 10 already, which is very cool. Great job again, J.L., on running the event! What does everyone think of the stories so far? We're getting quite a variety of story concepts from the theme...it was a great choice, Hex! I really like Precipitate! CC

Hey, thanks for the excellent writeup CC. I really appreciate the help.

Very fun to see what everyone is coming up with. Had to dump two of my ideas after reading them all because similar ideas completely trounced what I was writing.

Such a great theme I was able to come up with a third.

Don't know how I missed this thread, I've been looking out for it since the 1st of the month! Like the theme!

Wouldn't worry about it. Similar stories have happened before. Perhaps avoid reading the submitted stories before submitting yours?

We could ask J.L. to delay a little while before posting dd's story...perhaps till he receives a few more? :)

Also..yay mosaix! Glad you found the thread! :)

I really like this theme too. Its producing some whacky and wonderful entries! - I have a vague idea on the author of a couple of entries.

Thanks for doing it J.L. Borstlap! :)

I must admit I think I know already what will be getting my vote, though as many people have said there's some impressive entries here showing some real imagination and creativity.

I also have to switch up my story idea, someone came up with almost the exact same thing I had in mind.

I had that problem too... Or maybe I'm still having that problem... Maybe I'll just give the challenge a miss this month... *cackles evilly*
<I love reading people's posts and trying to guess who really hasn't posted yet and who's just misdirecting!>

@ddawson , it's meant to be anonymous so maybe you should think about deleting or editing your comment above in case anyone else is cunningly trying to steal a march when the guessing starts! K x
Sorry Kerry, must have written something weird in my post. Not the only confusion I created for someone. But don't worry, I did or didn't send it in when I was writing the response because I could have been almost asleep and had to answer it on my phone instead of the computer, or not. I realize after writing my original post I would have to kerfuffle it. Sorry If I caused any worry.

No worries, ddawson! This is a very informal contest...it should be stress-free, and the guessing is just for fun, no prizes! :)

Hah! Indeed Kerry, cheating, or asking a clever guessing-llama are the best ways of succeeding in the guessing round of the challenge! :)

CC, this is my guessing llama:

(He's not very good, got too many wrong last time. I may upgrade to a yak.)
