Discussion Thread - 100 Word Anonymous Writing Challenge Feb 2015

Yeah, that sounds right. Maybe take a look through the last 100 word challenge thread. It worked out perfectly

"Keeping Them Happy" -- With sharp insight, the author shows us what it feels like to be a bird in a gilded cage.

"Unidentified Floating Objects" -- This evocative story will have the reader looking at the sky with new eyes.

"Cloud Psychiatry" -- Profound questions of the nature of happiness are raised by this provocative tale.

You guys are probably right, guessing from everyone in the forum would be sort of impossible. I guess I was looking at it from a newbie's point of view, where I'm really got gonna have a clue anyway.

Please don't worry too much about the voting part of the challenge, Pwaa! I promise you half the fun in guessing is to go into it without confidence, and later find how far off you were when the reveal (associating the authors with their stories) is given. I think if we guess, maybe, 1 story right out of 5 we are very successful in our efforts! :) It's just for fun, I promise! (And even folks who've been here writing and reading in the contests for years will tell you it often comes down to almost pure guessing...and really, that is such fun!:)) You'll do great! CC

Thanks Cradle, sounds good to me, I'm up for a bit of blind guessing, guess writing styles are hard to tell in only 100 words anyway :)

"The Cloud" -- The author creates a brooding sense of menace in this open-ended chiller.

"Black Hoylian" -- The mind-expanding concepts of hard SF are used to point out human failings in this stylish story.

Ladymen and Genties!!

This is the last week we can enter our 100 word masterpieces! If you have done so already, well done! If you are one of the lucky people who still needs to enter, now would be the perfect time to do so!

19 is a good respectable number, but lets increase that amount just to make a statement!

Mosaix has already sent in four entries I heard across the grapevine...or was it one? Maybe none!!! oh no! get writing Mosaix! We're running out of time :)

I love these challenges. If I had any idea what 13:00GMT mean over here in Canada I might be stressed, but since I don't I will keep my head in the clouds on this one

Great job hosting, J.L.! And we have tied, I think, our record for most entires (is that right?)...how cool! There are so many excellent stories...we've become quite a nice little challenge. So, the voting/guessing/waiting-to-see-if-our-stories-are-listed fun starts soon...this will be exciting! :)
