I think your scheldule sounds good, CC. I'm ok to run it again some time in thr future, but not this time, I have a bit too much on.

I think I had offered and would like to give it a try, although you've done such a great job, CC, that I kinda got cold feet!

Since it's not starting until 24th April I can do it if no one more experienced steps forward (I'm away early April to sort my Mum and Dad out) and if someone holds my hand.

I vote for Kerry! Kerry, I have a terrific primer on poll creation, given to me by one of the legendary poll creators on the site. I'll check with that person and see if they would mind if I circulate it to the moderators of these 100 worders. You would be a terrific...oh, I keep trying to get around saying 'host'...I naturally want to say 'hostess' but that seems sexist! And I can't just say 'hos'...so, you'll be terrific!

For whatever it might be worth, I was going for an EC comics (Tales From the Crypt, etc.) kind of gruesomeness and victimizer-becomes-victim twist, not to be taken too seriously. Imagine it with lots of red ink.

Update on the next challenge

I have been reminded by one of the moderators that we should not coincide with the 300-worder, which is this month, so the start date for the 100 word anonymous challenge is now officially 3rd of May, to let the 75-worder have a day or two of solitary glory before we sweep in with our anonymous stories.

I hope we get lots of great entries again. Last month's was amazing.

I'm on to it. Just had a minor family emergency which involved a flight to England (sitting in departure lounge typing this on way home), but on target to start tomorrow. Got Crystal's theme and genre ready to go.

I'm home and working through CC and TDZ's crib sheets about running a challenge. I was always a last minute exam reviser....

My Dad has dementia and my Mum is frail, so sometimes I just have to drop everything and fly over to help them out at short notice. I HOPE I've got them sorted for a wee while now, fingers crossed. New challenge on its way very shortly.
