Discussion - May 2015 100-Word Anon Writing Challenge (#6)

Welcome to the discussion thread for the May 100 Word Anonymous Challenge!

The Challenge is to write a story in 100 words or less. Please do NOT post them directly, but PM them to me instead to maintain anonymity. This thread is for discussion only.

See the Challenge thread for dates and times.

Somehow I have ended up running this, and after CC's brilliant job last time it's going to be hard to top the March Challenge. Well, I'm throwing down the gauntlet. Let's see how many entries we can get this month.

The Challenge is open now, but nothing will be posted until tomorrow, the official start date.

Have at it, people!
I am missing something.... what theme?

@TT - You don't post entries there - they have to be PMed to Kerry, who duly counts them and puts them up. But I'm not sure that, at eight posts, geronl has PM privileges yet. Which is a problem nobody had foreseen (but, since I am supposed to be divining who wrote what and have no idea, judging by writing style, of any of the twelve existing stories, not even, should I have written one already, my own, this might not be adjudged so bad a thing - how am I expected to postulate a total unknown? By recognising lack of similarity to everyone else?)

I hadn't realised that. I have PM'd geronl. Can he/she reply to me? I sent links to the various challenges on the go.

The Lady in the Looking Glass- Don't wait until it's too late to show your true feelings, for there's always other options that don't include you.
Translations- The grass may be greener on the other side of the magical mirror, but the trip can be disconcerting.
Contract Work- A mercenary with no home, no friends, and eventually no life.
What I would to be you.- An extradimensional ally, protecting, but never allowed to truly be a part of your life.
