DISCUSSION -- June 2015 75-word Writing Challenge

Great stories this month. I think everyone is enjoying this genre.
My shortlist and winner is below:

Short list
Moonbat - Delete where applicable
This is a very funny/original tale of fact/fiction/red tape. I haven't laughed/cried so much since my D & D got burnt by Xbox.
Marmalade - Two for the price of one
I am a sucker for a stranded at home story
Luiglin - Destiny
Loved the ending, I think I know Hurak. Does he sell 2nd hand cars too?
Remedy - A rival
Well done for pulling it all together ;-)
Hello I must be going - Tim James
Very entertaining during, before and after

and the winner by the width of a dying sun is:
Starbeast - Ballad of Starbeast: Galactic Gunslinger
There is nothing like a big old Palamino sitting on the main character to carry a good story. Well done that man

thankyou for the mention, Victoria, it made me smile. always thrilled. :)
Glen thank you so much for the listing! you have a very tough list to crack, so i am quite honoured.

WOW! VOTES!! yay! thankyou telford, that was amazing to see.

and parson?! like what you said about being a parable, that was the BEST REVIEW EVER!
like i was all teary eyed. thankyou so much!
and a vote? AND i beat out SPRINGS???!!! just wow...
i am speachless.
you know springs, i was just about to post when you put your story up .. i looked at it and said to myself , like wow.. that's it.. that's the best .. that is truly amazing. it took me like forever to decide to even post mine after i saw yours.

Many thanks to Ihe and Cascade for the shorts. (I'm a long legged jeans man myself, but ... cough.)

Awesome stories as usual. Without further ado:
Sancho - It lies in the lap of the Googelator (oh, so that's how it really happened)

Many Thanks for the mention Ihe. Yes the gods moved in hilarious ways back then ;-)

Aw, thank you. Lovely, lovely you. (And all other mentions. I know we're supposed to just sit on our hands and like, but I find it hard. And a special thanks to Mr Alchemist for my new rapper title.)

After a lot of hard thought and all the fun of having teeth pulled I've managed to whittle the excellent entries down to a short list:

Remedy
WillWallace
Kerry
Glen
Michael Coorlim
Bedlamite
HB
Bob

It was hard going to separate the last two who clung together until the bitter end, but in the end I gave it to Kerry, with Bob a very close second.

Thanks for the reviews, Victoria and...er..Tim! ("Some call me...Tim.")

As usual, the bandwidth of your attention and perspective with all of the submissions boggles my mind.

And thank you Mr. Parson Sir, I was indeed "shooting" for symmetry. Had I a little more patience, it would have been dawn over the water...maybe next time.

Have read all once. No clue where to begin. Just means I'll have to read all those wonderful offerings again...Life's hard, isn't it? ;)

Tough month, people! I had a horrible time getting my short list down to anything at all manageable.

Anyway, my top three were Alchemist, Grimward and TDZ, with Alc taking the vote by the tiniest of margins. I really, really wanted three votes for this one!!!

On my shortlist: Chrispy, Kerry, Tim 'the Perpetual' James, Victoria, Cascade, Karn, Jastius, StilLearning, HB, Warren Paul, and Mosaix.
