Discussion - June 2015 100 Word Anonymous Challenge #7

Damn, and here I was sure, certain beyond belief, that Wrong Turn was one of yours. Oh well, back to the drawing board. And thanks for the mention.

You were right my friend, I wrote, "Wrong Turn of Events Made Right". I just couldn't say anything until the voting was over.

Even though there weren't that many entries, it still took me a while to shorten my list of favorites.

Anyway...

Congratulations to MOSAIX and CASCADE

And a big "well done" to everyone who entered the challenge, and to all of those wonderful Reviewers who had the time to comment on our stories.

********I just check the Poll************

I got a vote!!! Thank you MOSAIX. You made my day. Wheeeeee!!!

Thanks DG for doing such a great job.

I was pleased to see people give Chrispy credit for my little story. I had an idea to form a story within some alliteration. I just wanted to do something different. Then after I wrote it, the title snapped into my head and it sounded perfect. It didn't get a lot of action but that is all good. It was fun and an experimental piece for me.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, and congrats to Mosaix (who's on a bit of a roll at present - when you're hot, you're hot!) and Cascade, for their excellent stories.

PS - anyone who's interested in guest hosting the next 100-worder (one or two people mentioned it in their DMs to me over the course of the month) ought to get in touch with TDZ or Chrisp, who seem to be the more present mods on this board.

Cheers everyone - now get back in that sunshine!!

Thanks for hosting DG, great job.

Is it just me or does everyone else see the list of entries and their Authors and go, oh yeah, I should have picked that.

Thanks, Chrispenycate and Germinad for your votes, and thanks to anyone who mentioned my story :)

A massive congratulations, mosaix and Cascade!!!!

Congratulations to mosaix and Cascade, wonderful stories, both. :D

I never thanked Farntfar for the vote... So thank you, Farntfar! :)

So, there is no 100anon during the month when we have the 300?

Aha, so I had another correct guess, which was that Bowler was the red herring -- as evidenced by the fact that I attributed him to my own story. :D

No, we prefer to avoid having the 100 in the same month as the 300, so as not to overwhelm the Challenge writers too much. August will be the next 100.

Well, I won't give away my arcane formula for calculating the red herring. We must keep some trade secrets.
