Yay, every little boy and girl's dream! Serkit Santa day!!!

We are all huddled around the tree made of books, sipping cocoa in our onsies, waiting for the Serkrit Silverwolf to slide down the chimney and hand out our precious stories. We leave her an offering of Rabbit on a plate (sorry @HareBrain but the sacrifice must be made to continue the tradition)

For some of us it is our first annual, a new tradition; for others it is a long running event. We all wait anxiously, hoping we will not be forgotten on this, most wonderful of days.

She's making a list, she's checking it twice, she's gonna find out who's naughty (and hasn't sent in a story) or nice (me!). Sekrit Santa stories are coming to town!

Everyone is doing their stories down this time around. Are we all to turn out losers in the end?

It is now just after 1:30 pm on the East Coast of the United States. I have to finish this by 11 pm. That gives folks a few more hours to send in stuff. (Remember, excerpts are fine.)

As of right now (3:30 pm Eastern) I have received 13 stories from 12 authors, and sent them to 12 recipients. (Yes, some lucky person got two.) I am expecting one more excerpt to arrive just under the wire (before 11 pm Eastern.)

I'm taking a break from this for a while but sometime over the next several hours I will post excerpts and a list of contributors in a new guessing thread.
