The pronunciation of "pseudo"?

I went there last year with the family to some big shopping outlet, and I thought we were going to a place called Bister right up until I saw the name of the town on road signs and made the connection. Still feel a bit embarrassed I didn't realise sooner.:)
anyone who has lived in Oxford will tell you the right way to pronounce Magdalene.

worcestershire sauce pronounced by an American is better than anything the Brits say.
I've heard the word Bonkers on several US TV shows lately (Supernatural is the one I remember but I think there were others) and the o sounds more like an a. Makes me chuckle every time I hear it.:)
I dread to think what the US English words are we Brits mangle:eek:
