DISCUSSION -- January 2016 300-word Writing Challenge (#20)

I have a story of sorts. But – rather unexpectedly – it's too short. Anyone want to buy some words? ;)

No such thing as too short. A story is never less than the length it needs to be. :D

And it already sounds like the rather too... er... brief précis of a scene from Family Guy. :)

I love the picture, Ursa! Though I really feel I should've checked in around New Year's Day to sneak in the pic and try to get a head start on some inspiration. As it goes, I have all that lovely cogitating to look forward to.

This year is going to be a good writing year. I can feel it.

Life's a beach :)

I think I have something for this. Look out for Geoff and Dave.

Rafellin -- This story manages to be both an intimate tale of genuine characters and a epic saga of mighty events over an extended period of time.

Cat's Cradle -- This rollicking comedy has fun with popular culture while reminding us that small changes can have unseen consequences.

Juliana -- The author creates a uniquely terrifying nightmare in this vivid and original tale.

J5V -- With great skill the author keeps different levels of reality in perfect balance in this intriguing story.

Droflet -- The endless search for hope, even against overwhelming odds, is poignantly portrayed in this moving tragedy.

Serge Alexandr -- The mind-stretching sense of wonder found in the best of hard science fiction fills this account of transhumanism.

Ken Zulu -- With subtle wit, the author creates a razor-sharp satire of the business world.

I_Punch_Ghosts -- This fast-moving story of survival in a hostile environment is sure to set the reader's pulse racing.
